I have made these with both fresh potatoes and also frozen french fries. Both were good (potatoes were better). I added garlic powder and used the suggestion of putting all ingredients in a ziploc bacg to shake everything together. Turned out great!

These were good, something different from the regular old french fry!

We liked these pretty well. I flipped them halfway through the cooking time and cooked just a few minutes longer.

This was tasty -- I think next time I will flip the potatoes halfway through to get both sides crispy.

We love this recipe! What a great alternative to fried french fries... I throw some oregano on top, as well as the salt, pepper, basil and parmesan, and it is so yummy!!

Great recipe. I used the advice of a reviewer before me and used frozen fries. The only other change I made was I used EVOO instead of cooking spray. Turned out great :)

I made these as an afternoon snack for the grands. Like Linda, I chose to use frozen fries. I used shoestring potatoes & I let them thaw first. I drizzled w/ olive oil instead of using spray & I added garlic powder...these were very tasty! Thansk!

I cheated with this recipe and used frozen french fries. If you're in a hurry, they work out really well. My oldest daughter doesn't eat potatoes very often but she even loved these. I added garlic and onion powders to the mix and everyone raved about the parm cheese addition. Really tasty and thanks so much!

Excellent fries. I took advice from Shandy and also drizzled my fries with olive oil and then put everything in a large ziplock bag so it was mixed very well. I also added garlic salt. Kids loved as did I. Thanks

As written, these were alright, but since I added garlic and paprika for extra flavor, they pretty much ended up like the fries in Baked French Fries I.

This was the best baked fries recipe I've made so far. There's no need for any ketchup either. The only thing I added was the garlic salt and drizzled olive oil over the fries before I shaked everything up in a bag. Turning the fries 1/2 way through cooking gave them an even golden brown.

All I can say is yummy!! I just eye balled the basil and cheese. I also added some garlic salt. If you toss them half way though cooking all sides will get crispy. Next time I think I will also add some oil, cause some of the fries got stuck. Goes great with Grilled cheese

I liked the fries but they were only crispy on one side. Also, next time Im going to add garlic and a lot more salt on top of the fries before I bake them.

These french fries are SOOOO good. I couldn't believe how good they were, and that they were baked not fried! I used garlic salt and onion powder to season them, and also used olive oil as some of the other reviews suggested. I didn't spray the pan before baking, thinking that they were oily enough as to not need it, but after about 20 minutes I pulled them out to flip them, and found that they were sticking. I quickly sprayed the pan, flipped them, and returned them to the oven for another 10 to 12 minutes. They were crisp and browned. My husband said they were the best french fries he's ever tasted!

Tastes great and family really enjoyed this recipe! Took the advice of a previous reviewer and used olive oil instead of cooking spray and put everything into a large plastic bag to toss. This will be a keeper!

I really like these. I wasn't sure about how the basil would taste on the fries but it was good. I did cheat though because I used crinkle cut fries! It still worked out great!

I love this recipe! I usually use Italian seasoning (instead of basil), and sometimes I've even tried other types of seasoning, just for the variety. It's all good! I use my crinkle cutter to make the fries look "authentic". My entire family enjoys this recipe.
