This was excellent! The sweet and tangy coating had an excellent flavor. Think it would be great on baked chicken too!

This is an easy, yummy way to make salmon. I followed the instructions completely except I left off the nuts, and I don't think it took away from the taste at all by doing so. Glad I read a couple of ratings because I would've been tempted to use a honey mustard rather than honey AND mustard. Sweet and tangy and light. Aces!

I don't eat salmon, but made this for the family. They liked it and asked me to keep the recipe, but want me to keep looking for more salmon recipes.

Great recipe! Omitted parsley, pecans (didn't have any on hand) and salt. Used margarine and italian breadcrumbs. Layered the sauce and breadcrumbs twice then baked for 17 minutes. Came out vey moist and tasty! This is my third time trying this recipe and each time I try something a little different, but it's always good!

I did thoroughly enjoy this salmon recipe, however the only problem I had is that it needed a lot more of the Dijon sauce! I'm just beginning to cook and this was simple, straightforward, and came out looking great! If you like the fishy taste of Salmon then follow the directions to a T. If not, then adding a few extra coats of the dressing will make all the difference in the world and will make a nice, but not overwhelming, compliment to the dish. Very, very nice.

This was mediocre. I had high hopes, but the honey flavor came through stronger than I would have liked. Ended up tasting more like honey mustard than anything else. Wasn't terrible, but for the price, I'd prepare salmon differently next time.

YUM! As I am sitting here savoring this delicious dish, I thought I ought to review it. The honey mustard sauce is fantastic with the salmon, especially with the nutty topping. I didn't have any pecans, so I substituted walnuts. Also I didn't brush the fillets with the sauce, I just poured it all into the baking dish with the salmon, then sprinkled the nut mixture on top. MMMMMmmmmmm, it's sooo good!

This is one of my favorite ways to have salmon! I don't add the butter, it works just as well without it. I also used Panko break crumbs, it added a great texture.

Pretty good! I also added some mustard powder to the dry mix to add a little more mustardy kick. I really like how this doesn't overpower the salmon. If it was any stronger, it would be too overpowering. Nice, simple recipe!

My boyfriends mother makes a similar dish with the bread crumbs, and I really like it. But I wanted to try something different and saw this recipe. OMG, this is my new favorite salmon dish. I followed the recipe but I used dried parsley and instead of plain dijon mustard I used a habanero dijon because my boyfriend LOVES everything spicy! So good. Thanks for sharing it.

I LOVELOVELOVE salmon and wanted something quick for dinner, so I tried this recipe. DEE-LICIOUS!!! I didn't have dijon mustard, so I used sweet vidalia onion mustard, and it was excellent. The only thing is, next time I make it, I might half the amount of butter; I don't think it needed quite so much. And cut back just a tad on the bread crumbs. I baked it a little longer than 15 minutes because of the thickness of the fillet. I ate it with some fresh steamed asparagus, and it was YUMMY! Even my cat wanted some! Thanks!

I just wanted to comment on some of the negative reviews for this recipe... I have been making a variation of this recipe for years (just the honey & dijon by itself with a little salt & pepper baked - a little healthier without the crumbs and nuts for those watching carbs) and it the compliment of the honey/dijon with the salmon is outstanding! That said, I think the people that didn't like this recipe are looking for more of a salmon-y taste. This recipe balances out the extreme fishiness of salmon (a turn-off for many people, myself included) and, while extremely delicious for those of use that appreciate it, it can definitely be a disappointment if you are looking for a real salmon-y flavor. If that is what you are interested in, stick with the normal white wine & lemon recipe. If you love milder fish and dislike the real fishy taste of salmon, this is DEFINITELY the recipe for you!
