This was good, but lacked the flavor I expected. It also took a long time to make.

I really just didn't like this very much. I found that it was rather dry and didn't have much flavor. I still needed to add maple syrup to it to make it taste good. I do like the blueberries but I think I would be better off making regular french toast and adding blueberries to the top.

I made this recipe for Christmas morning and everyone loved it! It was quick to prepare the night before and Christmas morning I popped it in the oven. By the time we were done opening presents it was ready and no one had to stand over a griddle making traditional french toast. I used 10 real eggs instead of the egg substitute and I omitted the nutmeg because I am personally not a fan of the spice. It was also only in the fridge about 5 hours because I was wrapping presents and didn't prepare it until 3 a.m. Still tasted great and I served it with maple syrup.

This recipe was okay, but not great. The nutmeg was too strong and I would cut back on that in the future!
