This is such a good way to spice up pork and beans. I am not a big fan of them at all, but my husband and I loved this. Good additions to make a plain old can of beans taste so much better.

Great recipe. I had a gallon of pork 'n beans that I needed to use and a large crowd coming to a Super Bowl party. I used this recipe and changed the # of servings. It worked out great and everyone thought they were really good.

These were ok. All I really tasted was ketchup, they didn't seem any better than just plain old baked beans straight out of the can. I did leave out some of the brown sugar, but that was the only adjustment I made.

This is the basic recipe for baked beans that I have been using for years with the exception of the red wine vinegar. To be different, I wanted to try this using the red wine vinegar as called for, but sorry to say just did not really like it. I like using cider vinegar much better in my baked beans. Otherwise, I think this is a fantastic way to prepare baked beans.

Super easy, super quick, very tasty. We typically have everything on hand, so this makes for a great side dish in a pinch.

These were some of the best baked beans I've ever eaten! The only change I made was to reduce the brown sugar to 1/4 cup. Turned out perfect! Thanks for sharing!

Very good! I cooked the bacon first, I used a whole pound as I doubled the recipe, and I like bacon. Then put it all in my crockpot, and cooked on low for a few hours. Better than regular canned beans.

Great recipe- perfect baked beans. They were a TOUCH too sweet for us, so I'll cut down on the brown sugar next time, but that's just a matter of personal taste. Thanks for the recipe!

Thanks Jackie for a wonderful Baked Bean recipe. I wanted to make baked beans to go with dinner and I usually use my sisters recipe that is great and I couldn't find. I found yours and it is so much like my sisters. The only change that I made was that I saute the onion in the bacon grease and fried the bacon half way before placing on top of beans. Will make this again.

These were really good. They had the right amount of sweetness and taste of onion. They could have been cooked longer if someone has the time to do so to make them thicker but they were fine as is. I will be making these again.

This is a winner. Made it for the 4th of July cookout and everyone raved how great it was. My son, who has hated every baked bean recipe I've made to date, actually complimented me on them and stated that it was a keeper for all future cookouts.

Very similar to one I have made for years. I did as others suggested and cut back on sugar to 1/4 cup, increased Worcestershire to 1 TBS, and used 6 slices of chopped bacon.
