The asparagus was great even without the sauce. I made the recipe with 2 tbsp of butter and had leftover sauce. I also browned the butter before I added the soy and vinegar.

My friends and family love this. At every get together, I am asked to bring the asparagus. Thank you for sharing!

Loved the sauce, but I'm a sucker for balsamic vinegar. I used the O & Co's BV of Modena....that night, we ate all the asparagus.

I made this and it tasted good, but didn't really taste like vinegar, which I wanted.

Delicious! But you do need to increase the amount of balsamic and soy, in my opinion.

My daughter didn't like the way I cooked asparagus. I cooked this & she went back for seconds! It is definitely a keeper. I would not change a thing.

Excellent! I've only recently come to like asparagus, and I like this recipe better than anything I've had in a restaurant. I'll always make it this way now.

I really liked the flavor of this sauce. I followed the advice of other reviewers and 1)cooked in toaster oven, 2) 1 teaspoon of soy sauce, 3) 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar, and 4) most importantly BROWNED the butter (it adds maybe 90 seconds more to your cooking time, but it is the "make or break" ingredient in this recipe.

Very good sauce! It complimented the asparagas deliciously, and In My Opinion, would work for green beans too. I also liked that I could bake in oven as I used the stove top to cook the rest of dinner. The only thing I changed was I used my serving dish to bake in:that dirtied (1) less dish, instead of a single layer on a baking sheet. Timing was perfect at 12 minutes, done that way. When I make asparagas as a side, will do this way again. Great recipe!

I will definitely make this again. I loved it. My husband who reportedly does not like asparagus said he liked it too! I, like the others, switched the balsamic vinegar and soy sauce amounts.
