I have never made asparagus before so I ran across this one and thought it sounded delightful. My husband was about to protest at the thought of asparagus but I convinced him to try it with me and the kids. After trying it, he asked if I could make more. Great recipe and very easy too!

I thought the sauce was very good however it did not infuse into the asparagus very well. Next time I might saute them in the sauce so that the flavor of the wonderful sauce will be distributed throughout the asparagus.

Wonderful! I, too, cut back on soy. The taste was perfect! And, this is also soooo easy! Thanks for this divine recipe.

This tasted great, but even better it's perfect for a busy cook to time everything for serving. The toaster oven is a fabulous option while other appliances are all in use. The butter can be browned & mixed with soy & balsamic in advance. I even warmed my rolls by setting them on top of the toaster oven throughout preheating & baking. Thanks for the recipe!

Very good--I did switch the amounts of soy sauce and balsamic to 1 tsp soy sauce and 1 TBS balsamic.

We love asparagus - and this was a great new twist on enjoying it! I also doubled the butter & balasmic, browned the butter & reduced the balsamic (per another reviewer). However, instead of pouring on the asparagus, I added the asparagus to the pan and let it simmer for a couple minutes before serving. It was wonderful!

My husband was a little skeptical when I was making this for dinner, but we both agree that this recipe is the only way we'll make asparagus now! I too browned the butter and it's excellent!

A nice change of pace from my normal routine of preparing asparagus! I followed recipe exactly, but I did substitute smart balance for butter. Will serve again!

This is my favorite asparagu recipe! I used 1 tsp of lite soy sauce and 2 tsp of balsamic vinaigrette. It was delicious! I also took others' advice and let the butter brown.

We loved this recipe. It is now one of our favorite ways to prepare it our favorite vegetable. I also changed the soy and vinegar amounts. The soy was too salty for our taste.

I've made this a number of times now, and it's always great. I don't change a thing, except that I usually melt the butter in the microwave since most of my saucepans and/or burners end up being occupied when I'm cooking.

LOVE THIS RECIPE! This is the best way to eat Asparagus! I definitely flop the measurements to make with 1 TBSP of Balsamic & 1 TSP for Soy. Before baking the asparagus I sometimes add 1 TSP of minced garlic to add a little more flavor.

Normally I roast asparagus, but this was just as easy and a nice change. I made the recipe as written because I was really, really low on balsamic, but I'm very excited to try switching the amounts of the balsamic and soy as other reviewers suggested. I also wonder if maybe it wouldn't be tasty to actually cook the asparagus in the sauce so the flavors have some time to concentrate -- but as written, still very good! UPDATE: switched the vinegar and soy sauce, and it was delicious! Also, added the sauce for the last two minutes of cooking time.

This was fantastic! Such a simple dish. I usually modify some of the recipes I get from allrecipes however, I didn't alter this one at all. I made it for company this past weekend and my 11 yr old ate most of it. Thanks for the great recipe!!
