Before this recipe, my husband and I thought we didn't like asparagus. Now we make this every chance we get. I make the soy sauce and balsamic equal amounts, per other reviews. So delicious!

I thought this was fantastic! I took another reviewers advice and went with 2T of balsamic and 1T of soy. Also let butter brown before making sauce.

This was quite good and SO simple! The asparagus was still a little crunchy for me. I'll cook it about 5 minutes more next time. I browned the butter a little to give it that nutty flavor (before adding the balsamic and soy sauce). Yum!

Just made this. I want to bathe in the sauce. I am pregnant so this is one of those things I will have to keep in stock because I will be up making it in the middle of the night. THE SAUCE WILL GO WONDERFUL ON ANYTHING!!!! I could drink it with a straw. Make sure ou cook the asparagus until almost crispy, and also reverse the balsamic/soy ratios.

I've made this several times and can't seem to get over how easy this recipe is. I think it works best if you use equal parts butter, soy sauce and balsamic. I've also cooked fresh greenbeans using this exact recipe and they are wonderful as well!

Took the advice of other reviewers and switched the amounts of soy and vinegar. We loved it! My husband (who usually leaves some asparagus on his plate) ate all of his and asked for more. The sauce was great for dipping grilled steak in as well.

I thought this was a 4 and my BF thought it was a 5! It was good but I could have eaten it as is, without the sauce. I love the idea of just spraying it and adding salt and pepper. Thank you for the recipe!

I made this last night for dinner to acompany Thai Tuna Burgers (on this site) and Thai curry rice. Not that this is a Thai recipe, but it was the veg that I had on hand, LOL. Anyway, this was fantastic. I made pretty much as-is, except I wanted to brown the butter a little (as suggested by other reviews) and I forgot to do that before adding the vinegar and soy, so I'll try that next time. I also didn't spray this or salt/pepper this before putting it in the over, because I didn't think it needed it. This turned out fantastic and was even better after sitting in the sauce for a few minutes. My new fave way to make asparagus!
