Serve hot in leafy green wreaths of watercress or lettuce. Accompany with fluffy rice or hot cheese sauce.

This is a family standard. We have it at least once a week during the winter. The spices, nuts and raisins can be interchanged or omitted depending upon your tastes. Serve with oatmeal, French toast, pancakes, or as a side dish.
