This has got to be one of my favorite egg salad sandwiches from this site. Instead of sweet pickle, I used dill and added just a touch of dill weed. I felt like it needed a touch more of the spices, no need to add more oregano as it's already in the Italian seasoning. I also added a couple ribs of fresh chopped celery. Good stuff. I might add a little more bacon next time.

This was my first time making egg salad and the taste was delightful. I used real bacon bits instead, just for ease. The only problem I had was the next day. The salad had turned soupy! Is that normal? I pitched it since it didn't look right. It was too bad, because the flavor was awesome!

As far as egg salad goes this is a 5-star winner. I used uncured bacon, having half the sodium of traditional bacon, and reduced the salt to 1/2 tsp. Additionally, I used bacon salt instead of table salt. I took it to a picnic and it was the hit of the day! Even my husband, who isn't an egg salad fan, liked it and wants me to make it again.

This was a hit! My family loved it!! I only put in 1/4 of the mayo, didn't add sweet pickle or pickle juice (Shudder),didn't put in lettuce and put in 8 slices of bacon, why skimp out on the bacon? sure fire hit in this family.

I've never met an egg salad I didn't like and this was very good. Not a biggie to make but I did need to add a lot more mayo than called for. The bacon really made it! Thanks Delores!

I agree, this takes too much time, and it didn't have that wow factor.

Great sandwich! We love bacon in just about anything and it was very nice here. I used about 1/3 of the salt called for and left out the onion. I was surprised there was no mustard in here and I may add just a bit next time. Otherwise it was great!

Really Really great Egg Salad. I like it because its different and its not too many ingredients like people are saying. It took me 5 minutes to make after the egge where done. My husband devoured it and ask for more.

Good, but the recipe calls for too much salt. I would start with half the amount and add more if you need it.

Sorry, we just didn't care for this. Too much time and too many ingredients. I didn't have any sweet pickles and used sweet relish instead. It's possible I got a little too much in the dish.
