I made this for my 13 yr olds murder mystery dinner party. It was a great hit. The kids loved assembling it in the morning. I put them in a plastic bag to marinate in the fridge all day and then broiled for 15 min and served. This is now a favorite. Thanks.

I did the marinade that was recommended and used dark brown sugar. I also used Karo brown sugar syrup when baking them. Just drizzle on top and it makes the most wonderful addition. Even better than when I made these before...

This was pretty yummy! I assembled them the night before and wrapped the cookie sheets in saran wrap. I baked them as normal in the morning. It did make a big mess on my pans but I washed them asap so it was pretty easy to clean. I did not use toothpicks and they stayed together on their own (I placed the seam side down on the cookie sheet). I also put them in the crockpot at work with some maple syrup and the pan drippings. These were gone in no time and my coworkers loved them. I would make this again :)

This was a great recipe and easy to make. I made a double batch to take to a fellowship dinner and I only brought back a few.

Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! I put brown sugar in a bowl and threw in a few smokies at a time and tossed to coat. I then sprinkled brown sugar on top and when they were nice and done, I used a spoon to scoop up some of the melted brown sugar from the pan and spooned it over the smokies in the crock pot. They are absolutely wonderful!!! A super easy treat to make :)

Excellent, perfect party food. As has been stated many times in these reviews, this is the first dish to go no matter what other food is around! I put a layer of brown sugar on the pan before I place the bacon wrapped smokie on the pan. I then add another layer of brown sugar on the smokies - just to give it an extra hint of sweet.

These are a hit every time! I needed to bake mine quite a bit longer than the recipe called for to get the brown sugar the right consistency. Other than that, it was great.

A fantastic appetizer for any occasion. I use a 1/3 piece of cold bacon and roll the bacon in brown sugar that I have spread on a paper plate. The sugar coats the whole piece nicely. After baking, I always put them in the crock pot to keep warm.

Great! These were easy (I didn't bother with toothpicks and they stayed together fine), cheap (3 ingredients; can't beat that), and, most importantly, DELICIOUS!

Kids love this recipe. I have made these twice once for my mom's group & for a family bar-b-que. My nephew was seen eating them by the handfuls! I did have a mishap with covering the pan with foil, some of the sugar leaked under the foil I am still peeling foil off the pan! I think it would have been an easier clean-up without the foil.

Made these for a party. They were gone in ten minutes of being placed on the table. I followed as directed with one exception of mixing 1/2 can of regular coke with brown sugar and pouring over the the smokies before cooking. This creates a very nice glaze.
