Great recipe. Served with a side of honey mustard. I didnt add the brown sugar while baking bc i forgot. I only broiled then on both sides for a couple of min per side. I'll be making this again for sure.

I needed a quick and easy potluck recipe, and came across these...YUM!! They were the first thing gone, and everyone asked for the recipe! I assembled them the night before, and sprinkled brown sugar on in the morning. I used toothpicks to make it easier for serving. It is a little time consuming wrapping them, but they are so good! I made more tonight for my family, and there are only a few left. Even my super picky daughter ate them up! I didn't measure the brown sugar, but I used more than 3/4 cup, OH...I also used maple bacon for extra flavor...Thanks for a great keeper!!!

Easy and ALWAYS a big hit. I bake at the recommended temp but I turn it up to 400 for the last 15 minutes. If you use thicker bacon...really no need for the toothpicks.

Went over very well with my family. Did 375 for 15 mins and broil for about 5 mins. On the foil lined cookie sheet and cooling rack. Came out perfectly!

A great party snack. People love this. You can substitute with turkey bacon or a healthier option, but I personally prefer the pork bacon!

This is a huge hit! Everyone's loves them and they are so EASY to make, anyone can do it. It is just a little time consuming, but worth it. I do top the Smokies with extra brown sugar before I put them in the oven to get a little extra glaze on top!

These went over like WILDFIRE! Disappeared in no time at all. I've made several times, once I tried shaking the wrapped smokie in a ziploc with the brown sugar, coating the entire thing rather than just sprinkling over the top. The bottoms were burned and crusted with all the excess brown sugar. I'm definitely sticking to the original recipe. I bake these on a jelly roll pan covered with parchment paper to prevent the sticking & they turn out perfect!

I followed previous advice and rolled the bacon and the smokies in brown sugar, then sprinkled with brown sugar on top as well...they were fantastic and went far too quickly, I had numerous requests for the recipe! Thanks for the great addition to my appetizer collection :)

Easy. Inexpensive. Tasty. A sure-fire winner. What can be better? Like others wrote, I did a triple batch of these and they were gone within the first half of the birthday party. My husband and I just rolled up about 90 smokies for a party today... let's see how long they last.
