What did I do wrong? I'm an accomplished cook, and made these as the recipe states. The bacon didn't cook, even after more than 90 minutes in my oven (it's not broken and I check the temperature accuracy regularly and often). I had to finish off the bacon by putting the potatoes in a hot fry pan, which took another 10 minutes. Crazy! And the end result wasn't worth it. No thanks! I'll separately make bacon to go with my conventionally made baked potatoes. This was not good. Big waste of time.

Completely delish. My teenaged boys devoured these. I chopped an onion and added olive oil, garlic salt and pepper and used that mixture in the middle. So good!!

This gave me the idea to make them bite sized. I cute the potatoes into bites and boiled them till just half cooked. Then tossed in seasoning and wrapped in bacon pined with a toothpick. Bake for 30min at 400. My parties LOVE THEM!!!

Fabulous way to bake a potato! Bacon turns out perfectly crispy. The only thing I added was butter and salt and pepper in with the onions. Beautiful.

Yummmoooo.... Washed punctured each potatoe on all sides then I seasoned the potatoes with Garlic Salt, Pepper and Paprika (combined in baggie) wrapped each in bacon, placed in tin foil and placed on grill for 1 hour. Perfecto! No need for butter ~ Seasoning and Bacon do it all...

We thought this was pretty good, although the bacon didn't add as much flavor as I thought it would. The onions were a wonderful addition since the onion flavor kind of seeps into the whole potato, not a real strong flavor to where it takes away from the flavor of the potato but enough to give it a different flavor. The only thing we did differently was add cheddar cheese after the potatoes came out of the oven. Thanks for a great, easy recipe!

It was really good. I read some of the other reviews, and seasoned the potato before having it go into the oven. I also ate it with sour cream. The combo with bacon is so good.

I agree with one other reviewer, the bacon didn't give any flavor to the potatoes. Potatoes on the grill are good, but this didn't do it for me.

Wasn't a very big fan of these. The idea seemed great, but I found that the bacon didn't do too much to flavor the potatoes. The onions were good though. I precooked a little bit by stabbing the potatoes w/ a fork and placing the potatoes in the microwave for 3 minutes. When I cut the potatoes in half, I spread butter, garlic powder, and salt and pepper then topped w/ the onions. Wrapped in bacon and covered tightly with aluminum foil and placed on the grill for about 40 minutes. All in all, my friends weren't very impressed and neither was I.
