I had some great skinny asparagus so I wrapped five at time with half a strip of bacon. They turned out great!

Didn't grill it, just broiled it at 500 for about 15 minutes (until bacon was crispy). Pretty good. Just spun the bacon around it then rolled it to get the underside about 10 minutes into cooking.

I made this for our end of the academic year work party and they were a huge hit (esp w/our VP who's on a low card diet...brownie points!). I tossed the asparagus in a little EVOO & seas salt prior to wrapping. I've made them a few times since and they are always a hit!

Yummy! I did cook this in the oven at 400° for 25 minutes. I finished it under the broiler for 3 minutes to get a nice crisp on the bacon. This was a hit!

We love grilled asparagus and are always looking for new ways to serve it and this is a keeper. I wrapped 1 piece of bacon around 2-3 spears depending on size. Didn't even use toothpicks and the bacon stayed on for the most part.

The men finally ate AND liked asparagus. (DH, FIL and Stepson) Who knew it would be that simple? Thanks

I'm giving this recipe 5 stars for a few reasons. The preparation is easy, cook time is short, and my party of 30 guests devoured the entire asparagus platter leaving only one sad sprout for me to taste! I would recommend this to anyone creating an appetizer and I will definitely grill these again.

This is a great way to make asparagus. I cut off the fatty side of the bacon, using only the meatier side to wrap my asparagus. I brushed the ends and tips with extra virgin olive oil mixed with ground black pepper and roated them in the oven at 450 for 15-20 minutes as another reviewer suggested and they were perfect! I lined my baking pan with wax paper to prevent the bacon from sticking to the bottom and they came out beautifully. Thanks for the great recipe.

So easy to do! (Of course bacon-wrapped anything can't be bad!) Presentation was fabulous. Added a tbsp of olive oil instead of cooking spray. 450 for 15 minutes was perfect.

This recipe was great but I deviated. I put four strips of bacon at the bottom of a Dutch pot and laid the asparagus across the bacon. I added sea salt and fresh black pepper and let the asparagus steam cook over the bacon until they were done. I finished frying the bacon and tossed them with twice baked potatoes as a side dish along with the asparagus. The flavor was wonderful especially to my guest that had never tasted asparagus before. You have to try this, it's great.
