Wow! So simple and elegant! I baked this is a 400 degree oven for about 20-25 minutes and they came out perfect! The bacon gives the asparagus a nice subtle smoky flavor - yummy! I will definitley be making these again and again!

YUM !!! They looked fantastic and taste even better. I pealed the fat off the bacon and used the leaner part to wrap the asparagus. I put it in the oven on 450 for 15 min. then, I turned them for an additional 5 min. Perfect.

This was absolutely delicious. I just made it today for dinner. The only things I changed were that I used two asparagus to one slice of bacon. Before wrapping the asparagus in bacon I took a large bowl and put in a bit of extra virgin olive oil, all the asparagus, salt, and freshly ground pepper and mixed that all together. Then I wrapped the bacon around and put it to go in the oven. I also put some olive oil on both ends so that they wouldn't burn. And used toothpicks to secure the bacon on both ends. I put it in the oven for about 25 minutes at 375 degrees and broiled for a little at the end. Thanks for a great recipe, it was yummy.

if asparagus is thin then its good to use more than one asparagus to wrap a bacon around. I've always fried it in a pan so next time I'll try the oven. Pepper should be optional though cuz it taste great with just bacon and asparagus.

The first time I made this I grilled it at the same time I was smoking meat. I loved the way it absorbed the smoked flavor!

This recipe is great. I had never had asparagus and was very surprised. We will definetely make this again. We used coarse pepper bacon which gave it a wonderful flavor.

Delicious!!!! I wrapped 2-3 asparagus pieces with the bacon. Put them on the grill and they were so good. I served these with grilled salmon and they were a nice complement to the fish. I will also try broiling them if I am not going to fire up the grill. This asparagus was a big hit at my house.

Yum. I broiled it in the oven at 500 for about 15 minutes and turned it half way through. I wrapped the bacon around more than one piece though. It seemed like to much bacon for one piece. I already made this again and plan to continue making it.

I made this side dish with my own spin. I blanched the asparagus then wrapped with Prosciutto. Drizzled with olive oil, salt/pepper, then sprinkled seasoned bread crumbs and parmesan cheese. I broiled in the oven until lightly crisp and brown. It was a hit!
