So yummy! My other half had never had meatloaf and wasn't that enthusiastic on trying it... However, he ate 4 portions out of the respective 6 that I had made! He absolutely loved it...

Great recipe! Family loved it! Kids are asking for it when they used to say how they hated meatloaf. The first time I made it the bacon didnt look so well when it came out of the oven so I excluded it the next time. I also made a bbq sauce & brown sugar mixture and covered the top and sides of the meatloaf with it. So good!!!

My husband seemed to like this more than I did. But I would say this is an average dish. It was sitting in a ton of grease(which is expected b/c of the bacon fat and ground meat)but it didn't have enough flavor for me. I ended up adding seasoning salt on it when it was done. I doubt I'll be making this again.

My husband claims that this is the best meatloaf he has ever eaten and asked me to throw all other meatloaf recipes away. My ten year old son loved it as well. I substituted crushed Ritz crackers for the bread crumbs and created my own version of the chili sauce because I didn't have any on hand. This recipe is excellent.

After seeing other ratings, I was surprised at how awful this was! If my family will even go for a second attempt, I would saute the onions first, add a lot more cheese, and then cook, crumble, and mix in the bacon. As it was, the onions were too strong, cheese was undetectable, and the bacon only left the loaf swimming in a bath of grease, gross. And I didn't even think about it until it came time to serve, but with bacon in strips, it's difficult to include some with each portion.

This was good/average. A nice change. I usually make another meatloaf from this site, one that has a brown sugar/ketchup/mustard glaze that we always enjoy but I wanted to try something different. I wouldnt say this was exceptional and I don't know if I would make it again. The chili sauce really gives it some kick, if you like buffalo chicken or that kind of spicy food, you may really like this.

This is probably the best meat loaf I have eaten (sorry, Mom). It doesn't need to be soaked in ketchup. Everyone at our house liked it.

I liked the idea of the chili sauce, bacon and cheese, but ended up being somewhat disappointed with this. First, this recipe needed a healthy boost of flavor and some texture, so I added a heaping teaspoon of Montreal Steak Seasoning along with some chopped celery. The cheese was totally unnecessary, as it melted and oozed out of the meatloaf anyway. The bacon did lend nice flavor, but without the addition of seasonings this is just an ordinary meatloaf.

The opposing flavours of sweet chilli sauce and worcestshire sause made for a great meatloaf. I will be making this one again.

I followed this recipe exactly-with one exception. I used half an onion as my onion appeared more than a medium and because my kids aren't fans. This was a little too oniony for me, and might have been better with just a quarted of an onion. Just an okay recipe, so, I think I'll go back to my old one. It was worth a try, but just came off ok.

Mmmmm! This is honestly the best meatloaf that I've ever had. Tasty, moist with great flavor. Easy and quick to put together. Did make a couple of changes - used BBQ sauce instead of chili sauce and used about half the onion. Will absolutely make this one again!

I come from a family where meat loaf is always just hamburger, crushed crackers, eggs and tomato soup... it was getting old. Wanted to find a meatloaf that could stand alone without soup. Here it is! The bacon and cheese is a nice touch. I used a tad more bacon and a bit more chili sauce. Good Stuff!

Although my grandmother and boyfriend liked this meatloaf, I didn't. It could be because I used tobasco sauce which make it kind of spicy. If I make it again I will use something other than tobasco and maybe it will turn out better.
