Really tasty! Cooking the bacon for a pot luck-sized portion does take awhile, but the results are probably worth it.

Received rave reviews and several recipe requests at the baby shower. I omitted the olives because I didn't have any; I didn't miss them!

I didn't have a tomato and I didn't want to add the salt from olives so I just chopped up 4 cups of broccoli, carrots and a red pepper and added that. It was really delicious!

OMG Delicious!!! I couldn't get enough of this salad. I used thick cut "smoky" tasting slab bacon. I added extra bacon and made 1 1/2 the amount of the mayo/milk/HVR mixture, (but I always make extra sauce when making a salad with mayo, as the pasta soaks it right up.) Everyone loved the salad!

Great salad that everyone liked, even the kids! I used a whole jar of Hormel Real Bacon bits and nobody new otherwise. I used medium cheddar cheese and I cubed it very small rather than shredding it. I also made the salad early in the morning which did allow all of the flavors to come together. I will be making this again and again. Next time my husband suggested I use Pepper Jack cheese which will be just as good I am sure.

This is a great recipe. I made this as a side-dish for my lunches, but ended up eating nothing but this until it was gone.

I really like this salad. I did a couple of different things. I used plain rather than tricolor pasta and I used grape tomatoes. The tomatoes were easier for my children to pick around that way. Several people mentioned that the salad seemed drier the next day. If you add a dash or two of milk and stir well before serving that will loosen it up. Much better than what's in the box! Update! I now use the tricolor pasta and add some green onion too! Love it!

I would have given it a 3.5 if possible. To be fair, it wasn't that this recipe isn't good but rather that my husband loves the box pasta salad so much, he remains faithful to it and the way it tastes instead. I think it may have been more of a texture issue because it kind of got creamy and stuck together. Like I said before, it is honestly a tasty recipe, but being creatures of habit we sadly prefer the box recipe just slightly.

Easy enough to prepare. Added frozen peas for texture/color, but had no "wow" factor for me. After my own taste test, I rely on the response of family, friends, guests for deciding on a "keeper" recipe. When I mostly hear, "its fine", I know its time to move on. As others have stated, pasta becomes very dry following refrigetation. Doubling the dressing is highly recommended.

Pretty good, I was asked to bring it to a potluck after my mom had it at my place. I used gresh garlic and instead of the mayo and milk and powdered dressing I used Newman's Own Light Ranch to the desired consistency. I also add more veggies, pepper and cucumbers.

This was a big hit at the Football party! I don't think I added enough milk, however, as it turned out a little dry. Just keep that in mind while preparing the salad.
