I love, love this pasta salad. I tend to leave out the olives and tomatoes. It is so easy as a make-ahead dish and I just use a little splash of milk the next day to get it ready for serving. What a crowd pleaser!

Much like my old standby "Suddenly Salad," but SO much better with fresh ingredients! Make the equivalent of two boxes of salad mix. Very tasty... no changes to suggest.

Very good! I made this to take to a luncheon at church. The chopped fresh veggies in with the pasta definitely enhanced the taste and I love the color they added to the dish.I made packaged Hidden Valley dressing mix and it was great. Will definitely keep this recipe to use again.

This was very easy...and very tasty. I forgot to add the cheese...and it still was yummy. (I'm seriously asking myself how one forgets to add cheese???) I may use a bit more ranch seasoning next time....and remember the cheese!!!

I took this salad to a block party and it was a hit! After reading other reviews, I made some minor changes: I used very small cherry tomatoes (whole), add 1 cup of frozen peas to the pasta 3 minutes before done, and I added the bacon at the last minute, just before serving - this gave the crunchiness that may be missing if the bacon gets soaked in the dressing. I did not add pepper and since I did not have cheddar cheese, I substituted by gruyere, and it was absolutely great. Thanks for the recipe! This is a keeper, and so easy to make!

Delicious! I also added chopped red onions, green onions, and parsley. I also used halved cherry tomatoes. I usually have to doctor seasonings but nothing to do here... great as is!

Excellent! I didn't have any dry ranch packets so I used the premade ranch dressing. I waited to add the bacon until just before serving & added a little buttermilk the thin it out too.

I thought this salad would do well for a meat-eaters pot luck. It didn't do very well; it wasn't fresh tasting enough and was bogged down with too many ingredients. Maybe it's the Californians in us but the eaters went for simpler, fresher salads with less calories. This salad says: "big eater, I'm here!"

Used this at a barbecue, turned out great. I made it the night before and was surprised the ranch flavor tasted milder than I expected it to while making it.

My guests at a recent BBQ really enjoyed this salad! Though it hadn't been my intention to change up the recipe, I ended up including sliced fresh mushrooms I needed to use up. Thanks for a nice pasta salad idea!

Everyone Loved it at our cook out! I just did the pasta, dressing, bacon & cheese and left the extras out...still a big hit. I'm suprised a packet of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing with the mayo has that much flavor...delicious. The 1 oz. (taller) Hidden Valley Ranch packet was the perfect amount.

This makes Betty Crocker look bad. Lol Couldn't beleive the yummy flavor in this. My kids are picky and just ate it up. I had made it several times and it just goes as fast as I can make it, even at the camp. Thank you.

I didn't make any changes to the dressing on this, only the additions... I halved grape tomatoes, didn't add the cheese, used turkey bacon instead of regular, and added green onions to it. You might think that I shouldn't even be rating this recipe with all the modifications I made to what was in it, but the fact of the matter is that I didn't change the dressing flavor at all... and it was very good. I am so glad I found something other then Suddenly Salad to make for the picky boyfriend! Also, I noticed that the Tblsp of ranch dressing is what was in the packet of Hidden Valley so next time I won't meaure it out. Thanks Wilemon!

This is a really good summer salad, I added extra bacon because who doesn't like more bacon??? I also used Wacky Mac because I couldn't find tri color rotini. I guess I'm not a fan of green pasta and next time I will use all plain rotini. But that's just my taste. YUMMY
