A great lunch option. I took it to work and my co.workers loved it. its very quick and very easy. But it does get dry. I made this at night and chilled it in my fridge overnight and by then it was too dry. so i mixed a little more milk in it before eating it.

I wanted to really like this, but, I thought it was just okay. I made it for a pot luck--no one really commented on it, but, it was being eaten. I didn't care for the strong ranch dressing taste.

What a great pasta salad! I used pitted kalamata olives cut in half in place of the black olives and added some chopped red onion. This is one of the best pasta salads I've ever made and I've made a lot of them. Thank you for sharing this recipe!

I have made this so many times and add cheese, lots of cheddar and I use 2 ranch dry mix packets instead of 1. So yummy - try it you won't be disappointed.

Yum!! I used minced garlic instead of the powders and added some avocado chunks.

Nice change from the regular pasta salad. I only used 4 slices of bacon, which worked out fine. I swapped out regular milk for half-and-half and omitted the black olives (not a big fan of them). I was asked for the recipe from several friends.

This was so good! Took it to a church picknic and everyone loved it. I used the microwave bacon, but I may just use bacon pieces next time. I will definitely be making this in the future!

Next time around I may just add the rest of the packet of dry ranch mix just for a little more ranch flavor, but this pasta salad was absolutely great and everybody gobbled it up. Thanks for the recipe!

Great salad! I used the entire packet of dressing mix, a little extra garlic powder, and plain pepper instead of garlic pepper. I used half and half in place of milk, adding till it had just the right creaminess. If it gets dry in the fridge, just freshen it by stirring in a little milk and the creaminess is restored. This is delicious and has a very pretty presentation. It's perfect for potlucks. Love it! Thanks for sharing. Kaye

We liked this, but I used turkey bacon instead of the pork, to try to save on fat/calories. Big mistake. I will definately use the real stuff next time. Weird texture & taste to me. Also, I used more of the ranch dressing per other reviewers. I am glad I did. Very good pasta!

EXCELLENT recipe! Tastes like the boxed salads you buy in the store, only WAY better! I added a little more milk as you suggested, so it wouldn't be so dry. It was PERFECT! Thank you soooooo much for sharing your recipe, Wilemon!!!

I've been making this salad for awhile and just got around to writing a review! My family LOVES this salad! Every time I make it someone asks for the recipe! I add two pkgs of the Ranch dressing mix and I add a cucumber, 1 1/2 cups peas, and a small bag of shredded carrots. When I want this to be more of a meal, I'll boil 3 chicken breasts, cube them and put them in the salad. I always let this salad sit over night or else make it in the morning. It tastes much better if you let it sit. Very yummy!

This was a pleasant change from the typical oil based pasta salads I've made. I didnt have any olives on hand so I added some celery instead. I'll definetly make it again, but next time I'll try adding more veggies.

I thought this was really good, but overall way too salty. I've made the Ranch & Bacon Betty Crocker boxed version for years, and this is just like it, only better with a fresher flavor. I love the concept of making my own, but I would definitely have to do things different to reduce the salty taste.

I made this for a church social and it got rave reviews!! I used pre-cooked bacon so all I had to do was nuke it until crispy. I also followed another reviewers suggestion and added sliced zucchini and grape tomatoes. I have since made it a few more times for a quick meal for me and my husband....the left-overs are great to take to work for a light lunch!!

This was the BEST!!!!! I used Roma tomatoes as my boyfriend loves them and I also used a generous amount of real bacon bits instead of the slices of bacon. I also added cubes of cheddar cheese, ham and salami. YUMMY! We ate it on 3 of the hottest days of 90+.... It is a mirror recipie for something he use to drive out of his way to a mom and pop store in nowhere's ville! Thanks for the smiles!
