This was great! I used shells and precooked bacon (which I microwaved and put in the fridge in a ziploc). I mixed the crisp bacon in and then crumbled it in top right before serving. Definitely a do again recipe!

This is very good, much better than the boxed stuff. I mixed the pasta and "dressing" and let it sit in the frig. overnight. Before serving I added the bacon and cheese and a bit more bottled ranch dressing so it wasn't dry. I did omit the tomato and next time I will crumble the cheese. Everyone loved it! Will make again and again.

Very good stuff! I served this at my 4th of July cookout and it was a hit. I omitted the tomato, because we don't like them. Other than that, followed recipe exactly. (Well, I didn't use colored pasta!) I made this the morning of the cookout, and when I went to serve it, it was a bit dry. So you may want to add a little milk to it and give it a stir before serving.

This pasta salad is so good, my husband who refuses to eat cold pasta eats this! I made it for a 4th of July BBQ & everyone loved it! Everyone there requested a copy of the recipe! I used cherry tomotoes cut in half & bacon ranch dressing.

Delicious and easy! That's all I needed and exactly what I got from this recipe. I used Light Ranch dressing because that's all I had and it was more than enough, I also didn't use any olives because not a lot of people like them. I also used grape tomatoes and it was suggested which made it even easier to make. Great recipe!

This went over very well at a picnic! Quite a few people went back for seconds and I got a lot of compliments. I'm a fairly picky person and it was nice to have a pasta salad that didn't call for peppers and onions and such. Made a few adjustments that worked great for us: used a 16oz. box of medium shells, a whole package of bacon (duh!) and no olives since I don't like them. It seemed like A LOT of ranch mix and it tasted pretty strong to me. As I ate some of the leftovers, I added some extra mayo/Miracle Whip and then it was perfect for me. Also, I did not find the recipe too salty. In fact, my bf wanted to add some salt and I wouldn't let him because I thought it was perfect.

I loved this! I'm not a fan of olives so I added cucumber instead. It gave it a great flavor that went well with the tomato.

Love this recipe! DO NOT use whole wheat pasta though. I am a huge fan of whole wheat/whole grain, but the taste was just too heavy for this nice, light dish. Also, I would recommend adding the bacon separately into individual portions, if you think you might have any left over afterwards. By the next day the bacon is chewy and unpleasant.

Great recipe! There are a ton of variations you can make. I used whole wheat pasta, added chopped cucumbers, and added some avocado cubes to the top right before serving. My husband loved it. My 2 year old ate enough of it for me to know it was decent. I think you could easily add some cubed chicken to this to make it even heartier. Great overall!

Very good-seemed to be a big hit with the kids. Did seem a little rich to me after a few bites though...may experiment with some lighter ingredients next time. If you love bacon-you're gonna love this salad. Much better than the boxed version and very colorful-perfect for a potluck.

I followed recipe exactly and thought it very salty. I'm not sure if it is because I make my own ranch dressing or not. I did add a half cup of sour cream to try and cut back on the salt. It has a great flavor, just to salty for me.
