This recipe was great and ver easy. I had never made dumplings before, and it was much easier than I had thought. I also added in some carrots, which was also very good!

loved this dish!!! However, I had to use a small dutch oven to prepare. I have a lrge skillet, but before pouring broth and half and half --I could tell that I needed to switch to a pot. I used bisquick for the dumplings----YUM!

This is a VERY delicious recipe, and quite simple, too! My husband just loves it! Bit high in fat, but you can always substitute. YUM!

I would have preferred ham instead of the bacon. It also came out way thinnner than I thought. I would have preferred it a little thicker and creamier. However, my husband had it left over the next day, and said it had thickened up a lot.

My husband and 15-month old son loved this dish. I, however, didn't scale the serving size down, and ended up making way too much (and didn't use a big enough pan). But all in all, it was very good. I'll make it again, for sure.

Overall, this is a great tasting recipe. A definite keeper, and I can't say that about too many recipes I try the first time. I cut the poultry seasoning down to 3/4 tsp. and it still tasted very good. I would cut the dumpling mixture in half next time though, because it was way too much and tended to soak up a lot of the sauce mixture. My whole family liked it though~even my kids ate it!
