I was so excited to see this recipe because there is a restuant around here that makes this salad but with parm. I made it last night and again today once for colby jack and once with parm and it is a TOTALLY different flavor. I think the parm is much better so that is why I am giving the original recipe with the colby 4 stars. A really fantastic dish though.

Hubby isn't much of a salad eater but he LOVED this! I used yellow onion as I didn't have green onions. Cut the calculations down to 4 and have made it twice in one week!

Substituted cauliflower with red leaf and green leaf lettuce. Nice flavour although heavy with butter dressing

This is a wonderful salad! I too substituted the colby cheese for parm, and I didnt have any green onion so I used red instead... and it was delicious! Even my 4 year old wanted a second helping.

Excellent salad! I made a huge amount for eight people, and there was just a spoonful left over. They are still raving about it. I added more dressing to the salad, as it looked a little dry. Turned out great!
