Bacon Bean Sandwiches
SUBMITTED BY:
Dorothy Klass
"'My mother-in-law first shared this scrumptious open-face sandwich with us, and it's now a favorite around our house,' notes Dorothy Klass of Tabor City, North Carolina. 'The flavors of the bacon, beans, onion and cheese complement each other wonderfully!'"

When I was a kid I made this very same sandwich--beans, onions, cheese on toast. I usually ate it with a knife and fork. Sometimes I added mustard and/or ketchup. Thanks for the memories! I'll definitely be making this one again.
