I just took this to a non-baby shower party and it was a huge hit! A nice break from pink punch - and even the men drank like fish. It wasn't too fruity or "girly". I did not add the ice cream or baby ducks (obviously).

I made this punch today for my sister's baby shower. I got rave reviews on this punch before it was served. Everyone loved the color and the rubber duck floating on top. The compliments stopped once the punch was served. Nobody had seconds. The taste was ok, but I've had better punch. I did not have a problem with the ice cream separating that others did. It looked great until the end of the bowl. We had 15 guests and this was just enough punch for us.

This punch is very cute and tasty; the only negative is that for our shower the yield was wrong. We had 24 guests exactly and we ran out of punch in about 30 minutes. I'd recommend doubling the recipe.

This was a great recipe! The mother to be and guests seemed impressed with the blue color and they all loved the ducks floating in the punch. !!!HOW CUTE!!! It was really easy to make just dump and stir. I did find that the sugar didn't want to dissolve that fast and the kool-aid did get a bit clumpy so you had to stir really good. So I think the next time I make this I would probably pour out half of the bottle of white cranberry juice into the punch bowl and then add the sugar and kool-aid packet into what is left in the bottle of juice and shake to dissolve the kool aid and the sugar better so that you don't take away from the (fizzy) carbonation of having to stir and stir the 7-UP along with everything else in the punch bowl. Once again, GREAT recipe and I was very pleased with the results!

Great recipe. I fixed this for my sister in laws shower and it was a big hit. I couldn't find the packet of drink mix, but I got a gallon of the hawaiian blue drink in the jug. I also couldn't find white cranberry juice so I used the white grape juice instead. Everyone enjoyed it!

This punch was absolutely fantastic! I made it for my cousin's baby shower and instead of white grape juice (couldn't find in the small town) I used pineapple juice. We went through several bowls of this punch and still had people asking for more when it was gone. I will be making this at my next big event. Thanks so much!

This punch was easy to make and great tasting. I made it just as suggested, except I didn't get the right shade of blue Koolaid, it was icy blue, which turned green once the ice cream started to melt, so I had one pink punch and one greeny/blue punch... no one cared, it tasted great and looked amazing with the little ducks swimming on top!

This was a real hit at my daughter's baby shower. We had to use white grape juice because we could not locate white cranberry juice. Be sure to use only the 8 scoops of ice cream as the recipe states. It tends to get rather goopy if you add more ice cream.

I made this recipe for a baby shower on March 21, 2009. I couldn't find the unsweetened blue drink mix, so I instead used Rose's Cocktail Infusions in Blue Raspberry. It is non-alcoholic but I found it in the alcohol mixers section of the grocery store. It is quite sweet so I omitted the sugar. The punch was a great success, though a bit sweet overall for my taste. Others loved it though!

Excellent punch for a party. I made it as directed and my co-workers loved it. I also made ice rings with the juice to help keep it cool. My only suggestion is to add in the recipe that the beverages should be chilled completely before making the punch, for people not familiar with making punches.

WOW! I was looking for a punch recipe for a baby shower that was blue...I came across this one and thought I'd give it a try. I'm sooo glad I did! The only thing I changed was instead of white cranberry I used whie cranberry peach juice (because I couldn't find just white cranberry)Let's just say the punch was a HIT and the bowl was EMPTY at the end of the party!

I made this for one of my best friend's baby shower about a year and a 1/2 ago and everyone loved it. Even though she was having a girl I still made it blue because it looked kinda like water. I didn't have any problem with the Ice cream and it gave the punch a really good flavor. My brother is getting married next weekend and I'm going to be making punch for that and since I got such good feed back on it last time I'm going to use it again just making a few modifactions. I'm gonna make it a strawberry flavor instead. That you so much for shareing this.

I have made this punch at all my babyshowers. It is very sweet, I suggest cutting the sugar down to 1/2 or 3/4 cup, and I used white grape juice instead of cranberry. Also you can use a pink kool-aid like cherry or strawberry for a girl!
