My children and husband liked this a lot. It wasn't as "sloppy" as most sloppy joe recipes I've tried in the past and seemed more hearty - probably because of the beans, which were a surprisingly good addition!

I'm really sorry to have to say this, but this looked like dog food and really didn't taste very good. I followed the recipe to a "T", so I guess it's just not for us.

This was great! I like low fat recipes, but I often find that ground turkey just doesn't measure up to ground beef. Not true here! This was great! You can't even tell the difference. To make it lower fat I sauteed the onions and garlic in chicken broth instead of oil. I also omitted the scallions- didn't have any. I'll make this again, maybe I'll add sliced mushrooms!
