Delicious - wouldn't change a thing! So nice to have something different than onion dip!

I thought this was a good starting base - added a chopped green onion, used more tomato and let it drain on a paer towel for a few hours, added pepper, and let the whole dip sit in fridge for 8 hours. Definitely needs to meld to soften bacon and to intensify the flavors. Sprinkled the top with some more tomato and green onion and served with Ritz and celery sticks - was a hit! Thanks!!

Excellant recipe but makes a lot no need to double if you are feeding up to about 20 as an apitizer.

I made this for a bbq and everyone loved it! I tried a variation as per another review with some dry ranch dressing, and everyone liked it better the original way. I will make it just like recipe calls. Thanks for a great recipe :)

I took this recipe to a baby shower, only I put the dip into hollowed out cherry tomatoes. I personally didn't care for it but had many many compliments about them.

Good, and my guests enjoyed it, but didn't LOVE it as much as I would have expected from the rest of the reviews. Tasted best with bread - pita or baguette - rather than chips or crackers. Mixed it up the night before, used drained canned tomatoes, which I added a couple of hours before serving and didn't have any issues.

Very good, didn't change a thing. Next time I will cut in half if I am only serving 4 or less, the recipe makes enough for 10 or so. Thanks : )

This is an awesome recipe. I've made it numerous times and the only thing I'd change if you made it would be to double the recipe! The first time I made it, everyone fought over it!

I made this yesterday and it was a crowd pleaser. However, why don't more BLT dip recipes have the "L"? I know lettuce gets soggy, but i chopped a cup of iceberg and sprinkled it on top of the dip right before serving - it was eaten too quickly to allow it to get soggy! And also, I added the tomatoes along with the bacon (rather than waiting to add right before serving) and it didn't cause any problems - only allowed the flavors to meld together even better. All in all, great recipe!

Made this dip without the tomato but added some chopped green onion and just stuffed it in some hollowed out cherry tomatos. Looked and tasted great. Nice appetizer.

Not bad for my first attempt; my coworkers enjoyed it as well. I used well drained diced tomatoes, as other reviews suggested. Thanks for the recipe.

I'm giving this 5 stars only with some of the changes I made after reading the reviews. First I added a softened brick of cream cheese, reduced the mayo and sour cream to 3/4 cup each, and added half a package of dry ranch dressing. I also just sprinkled the tomatoes on top so picky eaters could take them off. This was good served with crackers and also as a sandwich spread!

I make this using a can of Rotel that I drained mostly dry using a cheese cloth in place of the tomato. I also added about 3tbsp minced green onion.

Love it! If I need to make the whole thing ahead of time, or want it to last more than a couple of days, I leave out the tomatoes. Its still good! The tomoatoes will make it runny if you leave it in the refrig for very long. I use fat free sour cream and light mayo and really can't tell the difference. Combine that with low fat chips/crackers and you have a pretty healthy snack.
