I made this for Thansgiving. I felt it was lacking something. My boyfriend requested that I not make it again.

The way i served this was a HUGE HIT! I scooped the dip minus the tomates onto ritz crackers, and topped with a slice of Roma tomato. AWESOME! The Roma slices were the perfect fit for the cracker, and tasted wonderful. Place on a tray and serve as an appetizer or finger food.

I thought this was pretty good... made it for Thanksgiving yesterday, and I did use well-drained canned tomatoes. I thought it was pretty good (except where is the "L"?), and it was easy when making the bacon in the oven, and it did taste better today (the next day). My dad tried it today when I was eating some and he hated it so maybe it's not for everyone. My mom who loves BLT sandwiches wouldn't even try it because she thought it smelled funny.

This is such an addictive dip! It is really fattening, so I can't fix it as often as I want because I'd eat it all by myself!! I serve this with melba toast and it really tastes like blt on toast!

Very yummy dip. I use a 15 oz can of petite diced tomatoes, instead of fresh. It is always a hit at potlucks!!!

Everyone LOVED this dip - so easy to make too! I put it in a big round bread and let people eat it with the bread I took out.

My husband took this to work for his staff and it was one of those "either you like it or you don't" things. I thought it was pretty good, but this was one of those rare occasions when only a few of his staff asked for the recipe, rather than the whole group! Very nice with the addition of chopped, fresh chives or green onions.

YUM YUM!!! This dip is awesome! I made it for a party and it was gobbled up in no time! I went ahead and diced my tomatoes and let them sit on a paper towel for a bit before adding them to the dip....it kept the dip from getting runny! Great recipe!

Excellent dip! It disappears every time I make it. If you are very short on time use canned diced tomotates (drain them) and a jar of real bacon bits. Awesome!

Tastes just like BLT's, so if you like BLT's you won't be disapointed with this one. I really cut down on prep time by buying hormell bacon pieces from Sam's club, so all I had to do was mix it all together- doesn't get much better. Will make again for sure!!

I made this dip without reading through all the suggestions. I worried that I had added the bacon in pieces that were too large, so I threw the whole deal into the food processer and pulsed a few times. I put it back in the fridge to get cold, and served it topped with some chopped tomato and scallion. Turned out great!!! Pulsing it together also made for a lovely pink-tinged color.

My sister has made this dip for years. It is excellent and so easy to make! I always use reduced fat mayo and/or reduced fat sour cream. I also add A LOT more tomato and have shredded lettuce with it. I serve it with toast triangles, wheat thin chips, melba toast, and for the carb conscious-sometimes I just use leaves of lettuce.
