I have made this twice now and nobody seems to be able to get enough! It's so creamy and flavorful and easy to make. I serve it with Ritz Crackers though as it gives it the crunch of toasted bread and it taste just like a BLT sandwich. Can't wait fir the next party so I can make this again!

WOW! This is amazing! I did not make any changes, except to double the recipe for a big neighborhood barbeque. This really does taste just like a BLT! Everyone loved this dip. I will definitely make this again, and I'm sure it will be requested!

Followed this recipe exactly as stated. Everyone loved it and I loved how easy it was to make. Such a simple recipe for such a great turn out. I fried the bacon in a pan so it would be greasy and great tasting. No health twist for me in this dip! I did add a significant amount of thinly sliced green onion and served it with thin slices of french baguette toasted in the oven with olive oil.

Just a thought to those who found it runny. What about adding sundried tomatoes instead of fresh? I dehydrate my own tomatoes.

The dip tasted very good. After it sat a while, the bacon got very soft in a way I didn't like.

Amazing Dip.. by using non-dairy sour cream, I was able to make this for my Lactose Intolerant friends.. I added chopped scallions, salt and pepper and substituted well drained roi-tel for the tomato to add a little spice...then just before serving folded in the crisp bacon pieces .. As I mentioned earlier... Amazing Dip!

I love this dip, love the flavor and everything. I usually dice up the bacon before I fry it. I was advised to use on the vine tomatoes but I will try Roma next time and not use the seedy part since it wasn't as thick, but still yummy! Also, I do 1/2 cup Mayo and 1/2 salad dressing for mine. So gooood!

Made it for the first time with the baked version (cream cheese plus cheddar cheese) and it was awesome! Great dip especially for something out of the norm.

I made 2lbs bacon, the other recipe ingredients, plus 8oz cream cheese and 2 cups cheddar cheese and heated for 20minutes at 350. Brought to a party and it was devoured!!! Everyone loved it. This is going on my bring to party rotating options most definitely!

I've been making this for years. Never tried chips or crackers. I serve mine on toasted bread cut crosswise. It really does taste like a BLT. It's also great on a baked potato.
