Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
  2. Put cubes in a large bowl and season generously with creole seasoning.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir Parmesan cheese, garlic, and onion powder into the melted butter; pour over the bread cubes and toss to coat. Spread bread cubes onto a large baking sheet.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes, stir, and continue baking until golden brown and crispy, about 10 minutes more.

Loved this recipe! You converted my husband who has never liked croutons! He said he is now a fan and asked me to make them again! Since it was just the two of us, there was extra (and I only made half the recipe)...well, he ate the rest! Thank you for an easy and delicious recipe!

Delicious! I just eyeballed all of the seasonings, to taste. I didn't have creole seasoning, so I just used cajun seasoning (not sure if it's the same or similar, but it worked great). Great flavor and buttery good~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)
