excellent recipe and taste, but not for the grill, stove top is best in my opinion
I think I will play with this recipe. It was good as is but the possibilities are endless!
I had leftover browned sausage from the broccoli/sausage pasta dish I made the night before, so I gave this recipe a try. These were pretty good - messy, but good! I added a handful of fresh baby spinach leaves to add some green - I bet cilantro would be a good addition as well. I served with sour cream, but the salsa didn't sound right to me, combining with the bbq sauce. A tasty variation on the usual quesadilla-thanks for the recipe!
I used whole wheat tortillas, and I think flour would've been better. Also, I wish I had used more cheese.
Very yummy, i used chicken instead of beef!!! cant wait to make them again
Good basic recipe ... critical to have cheese on both sides so the "glue" holds the quesadilla together when flipping ... hint: when one side is done, invert plate over frying pan and flip, then slide quesadilla back into pan and finish cooking other side
