Delightful! I modified slightly to make TexMex carnitas. I used pork butt instead and coated in salt and pepper before pan searing and putting it in the crockpot with onions and a cup of water. After 6 hours on High in the slowcooker, I removed the pork (so soft) and shredded it with forks and chopped it with kitchen scissors. I took the remaining liquid and reduced it by simmering in a fry pan. Then I added to the shredded pork and served in small soft taco tortillas with fresh cilantro, diced purple onion, salsa and sour cream. Tasted amazing and now we have tons of leftovers. And it all came from a $5 piece of meat.

So tender & juicy! I can see we will be eating this weekly haha. I love it with the beef broth but I also sometimes make it for cheaper using apple juice in place of the beef broth & it is also amazing!

This was soo great and easy! It really doesnt matter how long u put the pork in for your just going to shred it anyways. I used a pork loin roast and put on low for 6hrs. Than took it out saved the broth, threw meat back in with like 1/2 cup of broth and it soaked it right up. Added some spices. Than barbaque sauce and put on warm for a few hours. Didnt have the greatest sauce so I had to throw other ingre. in to livin it up but its not the recipes fault. Put on some buns with some horseradish. Just excellent!! Ive never liked pulled pork but now I do!:)

This turned out very good, but I felt it needed to cook on low heat longer than 4 hours to be tender and fall apart. I also used a butt roast, so no need for the broth...

I made this for friends and family...so good!!! I used Dr. Pepper instead of beef broth, seasoned the ribs, and slow cooked 10 hours low, then added Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce and simmered LOW for 2 hours. I think I may try oven next time instead of low simmer, meat was a little mushy...but still GOOD!

I used a shoulder as well, and wasn't sure about the cooking time to use. I work for 7 hours, and couldn't turn it off after 4, so I cooked it on low setting. When I cut into it, it wasn't quite ready, so I turned it up to high for another hour and 45 minutes, and it was perfect. It shredded easily. Next time I'll try a medium setting for the whole day. I followed the rest of the recipe, and cooked it in the oven 350, for 30 minutes. Used Sweet Baby Ray's sauce, and I have to say this turned out perfectly. thanks for a great recipe!
