This was excellent! I made it for my son's birthday and my family loved it. I will be making this on Thanksgiving per their requests...

this is an excellent, simple recipe, and once you find your go-to bbq sauce recipe or brand this will be an all time favorite. i personally like these sandwiches best served cold but are delicious either way.

Loved this! I used leaner, very thick, loin chops and added some finely chopped onion. Slow cooked on low for only 4-1/2 hours. I served it on fresh French-bread rolls with Provolone, dill pickle slices, mustard and a side of creamy, red-skin potato salad, fresh pineapple and cottage cheese, and an apple crisp drizzled with icing for an outstanding lunch. Oh YUM! Thank you, for an easy and delicious recipe, KMB233 and AR's cook Celeste, for being so helpful for sugggesting the perfect recipe, for what I was looking for. =)

Wowser! Only differences were I used a Honey BBQ Sauce and Country Style ribs that were steamed over a rack in an electric skillet to an internal temp of 160 in less than an hour. After shredding, pork was put into the slow cooker w/broth while side dishes were prepared. Went great with "Anytime Fruit Salad" as a wonderful taste contrast.

Unbelievable easy! Use a boneless pork roast. Cook in slow cooker until meat pulls apart with a fork.

Came out a little bland. It needs a little something spicy in there. Make sure you use a QUALITY bbq sauce.

Great recipe to follow! I used a pork butt, great with one bottle of beer or the can of beef broth. Cooked on low overnight (7-9 hours), turned off cooker for hour for meat to cool, then trimmed fat and shredded/pulled pork. Can then be refrigerated with or without bottle of sauce (more or less sauce depending on taste and amount of meat). Or can be put back on low with sauce for 2 hours or so, maybe longer if coming from refrigerator. Excellent taste! especially with Sweet Baby Ray's. Very tender and got rave reviews!

I followed the recipe exactly but used a pork shoulder (butt) roast and seasoned my roast with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Cooked it on low for 10 hrs and it was very easy to shred and pick out the fat. Used Sweet Baby Rays and loved the flavor. Husband gave it 4 stars because putting it in the oven for 30 minutes dried it out a bit. Good thing we had an extra bottle of bbq sauce to make it less dry. I would definitely make it again.

Delicious! Make sure you pull all the fat off the ribs, which is kind of a pain, but worth it. Yummy! I didn't have any beef broth so I used a can of beef gravy and 3 seasoning packets from beef flavored ramen noodles (I know, ghetto) and water. Turned out perfect and my husband LOVED it!

Very good. I took other reviewer's suggestions and used a pork butt. I cooked the pork for 10 hours in the crock pot and it shredded very easily. I let it marinate in the BBQ sauce overnight and warmed it in the crockpot the next day.

I used the boneless ribs for BBQ, added 1 bottle of beer as the broth did not cover all the meat...left on high for 6 hours...the meat fell apart, it was very easy to remove any fat, I shredded it, used baby rays bbq sauce as recommended by others and served on potato rolls. So easy and really tasty. 5 stars for ease definately! will be making again.
