This is a super easy recipe. BBQ sauce is so important. I used Stub's bbq sauce & found that it lacked flavor. For some reason it didn't compliment the pork the way I thought it would...Yeah, go figure? Cooking in the oven for 30 minutes makes the edges nice and krisp. So, next time I will use regular Kraft & will cook in the oven a little longer for more krispness.

Easy to make, doesn't heat up my kitchen in the hot summer, what more could I ask for? The end result is only going to be as good as the bbq sauce you use, though! We used Sweet Baby Rays, our favorite of the bottled varieties. I look forward to trying this with some homemade sauces in the future.

Feeding a family of 8, while being able to kick it up a notch to this recipe I use a large, yet inexpensive pork roast. I dump in a 40 oz bottle of Kraft barbecue sauce. (Sweet Baby Ray's isn't bad either.) Dump in 1 can of Coca Cola. (If your slow cooker is large enough, add 2 cans of Coke) Add 1 (8 ounce) can of mandarin oranges with juice. Add 1/2 cup brown sugar. Finally I add to that a 28 ounce can of diced tomatoes. Simmer overnight, remove pork and shred, return to the mixture, and serve over homemade rolls.

This recipe was a big hit with family and friends! I used boneless country style pork ribs. I used Sweet Baby Ray's sauce because we enjoy the sweet tasting sauce. It was as good (if not better) as any restaurant's pulled pork. Planning to make this again and again!

Yummy! This is a good one. I followed the recipe exactly the first time, exept I was in a hurry and I skipped the oven part all together. I think it is pretty unnecessary. I took the meat out, mixed in the BBQ sauce, and put it right on a bun! I am making this again as we speak, and this time I added a little bit of cola to the beef broth before putting in the pork. We'll see...

Wow, this came out awesome. I used 2lbs of Pork Roast Butt. I did everything else nearly the same. I increased the time in the crock pot by 1/2 hr on low, in addition to the 4hrs on high. I also didn't have a cast iron skillet or pan so I put the pulled pork in a prepared with Pam casserole dish. My husband said it was the best pulled pork he ever had! He orders this all the time at restaurants and now said he doesn't like the restaurant ones nearly as much as this homemade version. He had it again for breakfast the next day! It was gone before you know it! He said he wants me to make this for him every week. It was so easy to make, the only thing that took any time was pulling the pork apart with forks. This was no effort and no time. I love this recipe and so does my husband. Thank you for posting it! UPDATE: I made this again several times, but this last time I used a beef chuck roast, 2lbs and WOW it was so good! We had friends over and they just died over how freakin good this is and how easy! I did nothing at all different! I just made sure that when I pulled apart the beef I got rid of as much of the fat as possible and it was super wonderful. Also, I used 3 different BBQ sauces totalling about 16ounces for 2 lbs each time I did this. The extra BBQ sauce is real important because when it goes in the oven for the last 30minutes (which you gotta do to get those brown tips, mmm) anyway, in the oven step, the heat from the oven sucks out some of the

Added red pepper flakes, a clove of garlic. I go alittle bit light on the bbq sauce and then serve some on the side for those who like a very "saucy" sandwich. Cole slaw is a MUST with pulled pork - here in Maryland it's generally put right on the sandwich. This recipe was great!

I followed this recipe exactly (aside from using a trimmed butt roast) and it is absolutely perfect as is. DO NOT SKIP THE OVEN STEP! It is worth the extra dirty dish. The oven baking gives it a BBQ-like crispness that you can't get in the CP and it bakes in the flavour of the BBQ sauce. I want to try this with chicken and beef also, just for a different taste, but I'm sure it will be equally tasty and wonderful!

DA BOMB!!!!! So easy...your husband could make it. Meat is very tender and easily shreds with 2 forks. My husband raved about this one. I have made it once a week for the past month. I used a spicy honey BBQ sauce and it was delicious. Its even better the next day! Followed recipe exactly...very pleased! served with potato salad, wheat buns and sliced pickles n onions. Good stuff!

We have made this twice for parties at our home and because of its simplicity it was manageable with all the other dishes we served. We scaled the recipe up for serving forty people and there was hardly a scoop left. We used KC Masterpiece Original sauce. I would have used something spicier for myself but not all our guest like heat. Great party dish!

So tasty and so easy! I used a 5 pound pork shoulder and cooked it in the crock pot for 8 hours on low the day before. Shredded the meat and stuck it in the fridge. The next day I mixed in the BBQ sauce and cooked in the oven. The edges get crispy just as if the pork was cooked on the grill.

First time I used a slow cooker and it turned out great. Cooked 2lbs ribs on low for 6 hours. Ribs were more than done. Forgot to get BBQ sauce at store - used double recipe of Debi K's BBQ sauce from this site. My 9 year old said "Why haven't you made this before?"
