I came to allrecipes looking specifically for a meatball recipe for a slow cooker. Little did I know I would find a recipe so easy and so tasty! THANKS. It's a big hit with my friends!
This one would probably be better with fresh meatballs. The meatballs were mushy and the texture affected the taste.

It was super easy and everyone liked it. I doubled the recipe and used two types
of bbq sauce - one original KC masterpiece and one KC Masterpiece with hickory
brown sugar and the flavor was really good, not overwhelming at all. I will

I made my own meatballs instead of using frozen ones, so the cook time was a little longer (3.5 hours). These are great every time, and always seem to be the first thing that disappears when company comes over. Great for the beginner, or those strapped for time. Add 2 table spoons of raspberry jam and a touch of honey for enhanced sweetness. Very good.
This is a great and easy recipe. I made it for a Super Bowl party. I used 3 different BBQ sauces: Regular KC Masterpiece, KC Masterpiece Hickory Brown Sugar, and Gates BBQ sauce, and without the ketchup. Another way to do this is to cook the meatballs by themselves in the oven until hot and then put in the slow cooker with the BBQ sauces and keep warm until served.
I thought this was a delicious and easy way to whip up some meatballs. I used Simeks Meatballs, Jack Daniels Honey Smokehouse BBQ Sauce (which has a little smokey flavor to it) and added the Ketchup and some Worcestershire Sauce and a sprinkle of Garlic Salt. Delicious.
This is a great, fast, easy recipe for the ingredients and cost. It's no gourmet meatball, but the taste certainly outdoes the prep work and time it takes to make, so I give it a 5 star. The BBQ sauce is up to you, so choose well. That ingredient will make or break your batch.
