Soooo yummy!!! The only change that I made was to omit the cilantro and sprinkled fresh oregano a top the pizza before tossing in the oven. Oh, I also made my own pizza shell.

My family and I absolutely loved this recipe. It was gone within minutes. It's one of my favorite pizza recipes I have ever tried.

My husband and I liked this a lot. The kids weren't so crazy about it. I did half with mozzarella and half with gouda to compare the tastes. The gouda was definitely a better taste--the smokiness counteracted the sweetness of the sauce--but the mozzarella was good too, and definitely cheaper. I also forgot to add the cilantro to the sauce, so I threw it on top at the end. Will have to try it in the sauce next time.

I didn't use any of the measurements from this recipe. Instead, I just eyeballed the ingredients based on the size of my crust. I halved the recipe for Jay's Signature Pizza Crust from this website to make one medium crust. I used precooked chicken strips, chopped red onion, cilantro, and a blend of mozzarella, cheddar, and Monterey Jack cheese. For the sauce, I used 1/2 cup of Tony Roma's BBQ sauce mixed with about 1 1/2 tablespoons of brown sugar. Again, I just mixed some sugar in and tasted the sauce until it was just right. The amount of brown sugar is going to vary depending on which sauce you use. I found the Tony Roma's BBQ sauce to be a little too tangy and runny for the purposes of a pizza sauce. I'm going to keep experimenting with different sauces. But overall, this recipe is a good combination of ingredients for a BBQ chicken pizza. My family enjoyed it immensely. I'll definitely be using this recipe again.

Is this a dessert pizza? WAY TOO SWEET! I am upset because I have been wanting to make this for a very long time and I finally did and it was too sweet to eat. I was scared I was going to go into a comatose state from too much sugar. My teeth hurt thinking about it. I would recommend modifying the brown sugar for sure and maybe even a few other ingredients and then you would have a perfect pizza!

Delicious!! Thanks for sharing! I had a bit too much sauce but my pizza crust could have been slightly smaller. Either way, yummy!

This was such a great recipe. I used a whole wheat Boboli crust and onion salt instead of real onions (husband doesn't like them). We both loved this pizza recipe and have made it a number of times!

Made this a couple of times, really good. Didn't put in molasses or honey but used chili sauce(ketchup) instead. It's a keeper!!!

The sauce was excellent. I started with a brown sugar hickory BBQ sauce, so I only put in 1/4 cup brown sugar. Was very good. My only complaint is that it needed a little less sauce and a little more cheese. Next time I'd mix in about an additional cup of mozarella, as the gouda didn't melt very well.

Even without the honey and molasses, this recipe was wayyyyyyyy too sweet. I also used a white onion and used mozzerella cheese. For the crust I used a generic dry pizza crust that you add water to and cooked it for about 8 minutes. If I ever make it again I will cut back on the brown sugar at least by half. If not for the sweetness, it would of been a great pizza.

Awesome recipe! I used store bought pizza dough from Trader Joe's and pre-grilled the dough on my BBQ grill to get that grill flavor. I also grilled my chicken. I didn't use any sugar, honey or molasses as I felt my BBQ sauce was sweet enough. I used Sweet Baby Ray's. Topped it and finished it in the oven. It was incredible! I've made BBQ chicken pizza tons of times but never with gouda which was really the secret to making this pizza the best BBQ chicken pizza. However, I do recommend grilling the chicken and crust. Thanks for the recipe!

Outstanding. Next time, I would add extra red onions. It had a GREAT flavor. Made several pizzas up and froze them--they too turned out great later.

This was very good. My little daughter who doesn't eat anything of course picked at it...but all my other children liked it. I think for less picky eaters..peppers and even maybe pineapple would taste good. I just sliced my chicken thin and browned it in olive oil with a lil garlic powder and onion powder. Also I brushed on a thin layer of BBQ sauce on the crust and also used some mozzerella cheese as well. I will make this again.

This is more like 4.5 stars. I enjoyed it. I just used some left over BBQ chicken we had and store bought BBQ sauce. Couldn't find the Gouda so we got pizza cheese, mozzarella, and asiago. I didn't use a half a bunch of cilantro, just enough to cover the pizza and have a little in every bit, but I'll probably cut back even more on it, because even though I liked it, I thought it was strong, and I burped it all night :( This pizza is a good change of pace from the normal. Will make again.
