I've made this recipe at least a half a dozen times, and everyone loves them. Yes, they are chocolatey, and actually look professionally made if you take them out of the oven while they are still soft. Kids and adults have raved about them.

If you are a chocolate lover then you will love this cookie. I thought it a bit much. Be forewarned, it is not a pretty cookie. It looks kind of gross actually. And if you don't eat them within a week they get too hard to eat.
