I used 1/2 cup vanilla lowfat yogurt and 1/2 cup light vanilla soy milk, 8 frozen unsweetened strawberries and 1 banana. Thought it was good!

I have been making this smoothie for the past 6 years, and it is always my go to strawberry smoothie recipe. I cut the sugar to 1 tbsp, and vanilla to 1 tsp. Sometimes I use frozen strawberries (that I freeze after cutting during the summer reasons) and sit them in hot water for a few minutes. If the mix is too think with the frozen strawberries (I don't use the ice when I use the strawberries frozen) I simply add a little water at a time until the consistency that I desire. Delicious recipe.

I thought the thickness and texture were perfect but the flavor was a little bland. However, this is a pretty good base for any type of fruit smoothie you'd like.

Great recipe! I did make a few changes though. I used 10-12 frozen strawberries (then you don't need to use the ice), 1 Tbsp. sugar, 1 teas vanilla and used whatever kind of yogurt I had in my 'fridge. (Peach once and strawberry the other) Awesome!

Thanks B & L....my kids loved this recipe. I could not find plain yogurt so I used vanilla, and added some fresh blue berries as well.

Delicious! Very creamy & refreshing. I used Splenda (2 tsp.) instead of sugar, and I used Vanilla Yogurt, Frozen Whole strawberries, so I did not need the ice. The whip up great in my Magic Bullet!

Very good. For the most part you can make it as thick or as thing as you woulod like it to be. Next time I will try this with other fruit. This is very easy to make. I always have a bag of frozen strawberries in my house and pop em' in the microwave to thaw.

We made it exactly (ingredients) as it said but I did do one thing differently so that I didn't have to use ice, I froze my strawberries too and it was as delicious as buying one from Juice-it-up or another smoothie place! Thick and yummy! If it is too thick for you add more milk, if it's not thick enough add the milk a little at a time until you get your desired thickness! I will DEFINITELY make this again...and I have found a new use for frozen fruit! One more thing...I had a nectarine that was getting too ripe so I cut it up and froze it and used it another day in this smoothie! Great job!
