Very easy to make and a crowd pleaser. I added diced green chilis which added color and flavor as well.

Loved it!!! Had it for Thanksgiving and it was gone within minutes. I think I will be making this to take the place of just plain cornbread.

Very delicious!! Easy to make and affordable side dish. My family loved it, tastes just like the corn cake you get from Mexican restaurants.

Used for Thanksgiving this year (09) and it was a hit. I had 2 bags of 6.5 oz corn muffin mix so used those instead of one 8.5 oz and added a can of green chilis. Did not double entire recipe, just the additional muffin mix and it made a 9x13 just perfectly. Plan to make this every year now along with the green bean casserole.

The only thing I added was green onion. It was a great pot luck casserole and everyone loved it.

This was super easy to make and was the perfect replacement for the frozen name-brand corn souffle I could no longer find at the grocery store. I made this for Thanksgiving dinner and it was requested that I make it for every family dinner in the future.

This was really good...kind of like corn bread. I made it as a side for Thanksgiving so I made it in the crock pot since there wasn't room in the oven. On high for 3 hours and it turned out great!

This was an excellent addition to our Thanksgiving meal. Even the picky eater loved it. I added some minced onion and chopped red and green bell pepper. It added to the flavor and gave it a festive appearance. I doubled the recipe, using a large casserole dish. It required more cooking time which made the edges a bit crispy. Next time I will bake two batches.

I made this for Thanksgiving for 28 people. I doubled the recipe into a 9x13 pan and added some black pepper, too. It was a hit! I'd definitely make this again.

A perfect fit for our holiday dinner. Agree with those who recommended baking longer and adding chillies/pimentos for color.

I didn't want to make this on Thanksgiving as I have had only bad experiences trying something for the first time on a holiday-now I wish I had! I made this the day after to go with turkey leftovers, and it was great! Simple, creamy, and delicious-the perfecdt side dish.

Great results! The only change I made was to top the casserole with bread crumbs. It reminds me of a corn-oyster casserole my mom used to make. This should prove adaptable if I ever want to add to it -- though I can't imagine why I would want to mess with perfection!

I made this to go with our Thanksgiving dinner and it was a hit. I will definately make it again. I added a big tablespoon full of brown sugar to make it sweet. Other than that, I didn't change a thing!

This was awesome! I made exactly as directed except for sprinkling chopped green onions on the top. I thought about adding some shredded cheddar but didn't, and am glad because it didn't need it! I did have to bake it about 15 minutes longer than the instructions though, but possibly due to using an 8" X 8" instead of a 9" X 9"
