This really is an awesome dish. I took one of the reviewer's suggestions and added chopped onions and chopped pimentos and a little bit of salt. I also added some a few tablespoons of splenda(you could use sugar, but I'm diabetic and don't even keep sugar in the house). I made it a week before Thanksgiving to try it out and my husband loved it. Took it to two family dinners on the holiday and have made one more time since then...and there were no leftovers. And it's sooo easy to make. I highly recomend this!

Thanks for sharing this excellent recipe! I reduced the butter to 2tbs and added 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese.

I'd give this more than 5 stars if I could. I made this for Thanksgiving and MAN was it a hit. My husband loved it and took the leftovers with us camping. Even my sister and sister in law raved about it. This will be a staple at our Holiday table from now on. I made just as directed and wouldn't dream of changing anything.

Good and super easy. Made it the day before and just had to reheat. I added green chiles to half of it to make it more fun for the adventurous. Probably will make again.

I doubled this recipe to serve on Thanksgiving. It was a crowd favorite. I think I would make it for everyday meals as well.

This is such a delicious side dish that I make every year around the holidays, and I think this is the best recipe. I did, however, have to cook it a little bit longer than the recipe called for to get it done all the way in the center. Overall, a great recipe!

Oh so good! I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of using lite sour cream. I baked this for Thanksgiving and everyone raved about it (especially my mother who asked for the recipe.)

I had to cook this casserole twice as long as was specified in the recipe, but it turned out yummy - and was a favorite at Thanksgiving.

We love this recipe. I used 1/4 C butter and 1/4 applesauce to cut down on the fat. Cooked it for an hour. Yummy.

This was very good I didn't have a can of whole corn so I added a half of bag of frozen corn and defrost in warm water drain..then added them and it work just fine. Will make again.

I have made this numerous times and everyone had always loved it. It is so easy to throw together that we do not wait for family gatherings to make it anymore. I noticed a few people mention in their reviews that it was a bit bland, but I think a recipe like this is meant to be seasoned to your personal taste. You would not just dump a can of corn in a pan and serve it without at least adding butter, salt, pepper, etc. So, I do not know why someone would make this and not season it. I realize the recipe does not note this, but I just assumed that was a given. I usually add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder when I make this. No certain measurements, just a sprinkling until it looks about right. Also, if you are looking for a little more interest, try using french onion chip dip in place of the sour cream.

Made it for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it, including me. The only thing is I think it needs a bit more seasoning, but I'm not a very creative cook, so I don't really know what...

I added 1/4 cup of Splenda, to add just a hint of sweetness. And, I accidentally left out the butter. It still came out delicious - enough so that I don't think I'll add it (and the calories) from here on out. Great recipe!! Doesn't last long. :-D
