This recipe has been in my family for years, but varies from cook to cook. I tend to use only 1 egg, and substitute half of the sour cream for milk.

My family absolutely loved this even when I was indifferent. Came out really moist and with a lot of corn flavor. It was easy to make so I can't complain. Recommended for those who love corn! I might try to reduce the amount of liquid so it comes out like a cornbread rather than a casserole. Bon appetite!

This was tasty! I cooked mine accrding to recipe, but had to increase my cooking time by 22 min. more than called for. It took awhile to be a little brown on top, but worth the wait! Also, I used low-fat sour cream and 1 egg & 1 egg white. I think it would taste just the same with 2 egg whites and less butter (maybe only 1/4 cup)to cut down the cholesterol and calories. I will try that version next time :).

My sister makes this and takes it to church and family potlucks and brings home an emepty dish. We also double it and put in a 9 x 13 pan. A single batch for a potluck is not enough.

Since we recently moved to Texas, I wanted to make something "southern" feeling as a side dish for friends. I thought this was outstanding, creamy and delicious however my fiance just said it was "OK". It kind of reminded me of the corn dish they serve on mexican plates at Chevys, which my fiance doesnt like either! If you like that, You'll love this!!

WOW!! This recipe amazed me! Economical,quick, and yummy! Followed the recipe except for a handful of sharp cheddar I threw in with the batter. For the record, I was really disappointed with the dish when I first tasted it. It had just come out of the oven and was still pretty soupy. After it got to room temp it had set much better. From now on, I will make this early in the day so it will be ready for dinner. Room temp was the ticket for me!

this was very good, not quite 5 stars here. a little dry. i'll add green chilies with liquid and some milk when i make this again. green onions as well. i don't like canned cream corn but this turned out very good.

A really nice departure from potatoes when you're serving pork or ham. My kids love this and it goes together in a snap. This is comfort food at it's best. Great with any kind of BBQ too.

I doubled this recipe, used Jiffy cornbread mix and added approximately 2 tablespoons of chopped onions. Great for a church potluck and enjoyed by everyone.
