This really is awesome. I usually use sage seasoned sausage. Sometimes I leave out the sausage altogether, for THE BEST stuffed pork chops.

Wow! Our family loves this stuffing! We prefer cornbread over white/wheat, but otherwise wouldn't change anything. This recipe has so much wonderful flavor. This will be our Thanksgiving stuffing from now on!

This is one of my all time favorites. I can't imagine having my Thanksgiving dinner without it. I do sprinkle on extra broth. I always chop my veggies very small (I don't like onions or celery chunks, but I'm okay if they are chopped small). My family loves this recipe.

This stuffing is absolutely AMAZING! It's definately in a class of it's own - there is NOT a stuffing out there that compares. Superb flavor!

Delicious! I omitted the turkey liver as it was difficult to find, and my mom used the liver from the turkey to make her stuffing. Tasted great even without the liver.

I guess it's a matter of preference, but I thought the craberries were too sweet in the stuffing. I picked them all out when I was eating. Next time I am skipping the cranberries and adding mushrooms!

Great recipe. I dont stuff the turkey. I made it in a casserole dish. Only change needed was more turkey stock since it doesnt have the turkey juices to keep it moist. I already have requests to make it this Thanksgiving.

Absolutely delicious! I dug some frozen bagels out of the back of the freezer and used those for the bread. I made this as a side dish to go with chicken breasts (not inside a turkey) so I doubled the amount of broth, and baked it in a greased dish covered with tinfoil. I took it out and stirred it after 30 minutes, added some more broth, and recovered it to bake for 15 more minutes. Then I lowered the temp to 315, took off the foil and let it cook for 15 minutes more. Perfect!

We make this every year and it is the highlight of the meal. If the stuffing isn't to my Dad's standard he will complain all year about it. For the past 3 years no complaints. Thank goodness.

This was fantastic! I made this for Christmas dinner with turkey and prime rib and everyone raved over it. I didn't cook it inside the bird though, and even though I added more broth as recommended by many reviewers, it was still a tad dry. Not so much dry as it wouldn't bind together. Next time, I'll add more broth & maybe an egg or two to bind it together... but I'll definitely be making it again!

This came out moist and flavorful, picked up the flavor of the bird nicely. I added a little more sage (personal preference) and some lemon juice for tang. 'Twas lovely.

I liked it but the family prefers more of a traditional stuffings WITHOUT the fruit (apples & cranberrys) so unfortunately there was alot that went to waste. (Thanksgiving 2006)

This stuffing is awesome. I cooked it in a baking dish instead of in a turkey. I used sourdough bread, hot pork sausage, added about 2 cups of chicken stock for moisture, used fresh herbs and omitted the liver. Deeeee-lish!
