I'm rating this 5 stars and I'm generally not a stuffing fan! Made this recently and couldn't get enough of it. Delicious.

This was the first time I've ever made a stuffing like this. My husband grumbled the whole time because "He doesn't like stuffing with fruit...blah,blah" Not only did he go back for seconds but we had it for leftovers the next day too!

The entire family really loved this! I made two changes 1) I used cornbread and white bread and 2) I used maple sausages instead of the ground turkey sausages. Thank you!! I will be making this again!

I have made this dressing for years. It is demanded whether I cook at home or go to family or friends for holiday dinners. I do cheat a little and use a bag of seasoned bread crumbs, sage pork sausage, poultry seasoning instead of all the individual spices and skip the liver. Fantastic!!

This was very tasty, the flavors went together well. We used a pork sausage instead, my husband is not a fan of turkey sausage, so that is the only reason why. It was delicious!

A great dressing! I have made this for the past three family Thanksgiving dinners (Canadian so we just celebrated) and it has become a staple in our meal. It can be difficult to find Turkey sausage in Canada so I use either bits of turkey or sometimes porks sausage. I omit the turkey liver and use chicken stock instead of turkey stock. I also cook mine in the slow cooker on low for 3-4 hours (doubled recipe) to help save oven space. A wonderful dish with loads of personality.

Everyone loved this dressing. Excellent. I used hot Italian sausage for an added kick, omitted the liver. I prepared this the day before stuffing the turkey except for adding the broth. The broth was poured over everything just before filling the bird. Worked beautifully!

This is very tasty stuffing, better than traditional stuffing. I do not use the liver though, I use a sage sausage.

This was the best stuffing I have ever eaten. I made this last year for Thanksgiving (the first I had ever cooked) and it was easy and delicious.

This was truly delicious. I made it last year for Thanksgiving...and it was good enough to please my mother-in-law! The cranberries and apples are a great sweet contrast to the sausage and spices. This will be a staple at every Thanksgiving.

Very good recipe - the flavors of sweet and savory seem to marry beautifully in this dish. Peoples tastes are all different though and most of my family just couldn't adjust to sausaage and apples in their stuffing. I still use the basics of this recipe but to keep my parents happy I cut the apple, cranberries and sausage amounts in half, added one box of "savory herb" stove top to bring up the bread to meat ratio and double the liquid so I can make this outside the bird in my crockpot. I loved the recipe "as is" but it's still very tasty modified for family preferences.

If I could give this recipe ten stars I would. I have made this stuffing several times and it has always been a hit. I made this recipe yesterday for a family potluck. We always turn these events into a judging contest...I took first place with this one! Out of approx. 40 people there was only one person who didn't love it...my sister, and she is just weird anyway, lol.
