Wow these are yummy. I don't usually like a cakey cookie but these are DELICIOUS! I used chocolate pudding ... I have a thing for chocolate :o). Gonna make them again and again. Thank you! I halved the recipe. I added 1/2 tsp salt and a tad extra vanilla cause I got a thing for vanilla too :o)

ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT! BAKED IN 12 MINUTES. MADE THEM TONIGHT FOR A BAKE SALE AT CHURCH. AS THE COOKIES DON'T SPREAD, I WAS ABLE TO BAKE 20 COOKIES ON THE COOKIE SHEET PER BATCH. ONLY MADE 1/2 THE RECIPE AS I WAS SKEPTICAL OF THE INSTANT VANILLA PUDDING. THESE WORKED OUT PERFECTLY AND YOU COULD NOT DETECT THE TASTE OF THE PUDDING. THANKS FOR THE RECIPE. I WILL BE MAKING THEM AGAIN!!!

These are great! I did as another suggested and added more vanilla, salt and added some baking powder, but even without they are delicious.

Great recipe, I have tried others that used pudding in them but never really cared for them but after reading the reviews on this recipe I deceided to try it and am so glad I did. I have been looking for a good soft chocolate chip cookie for years and this is exactly what I wanted. Thank you Debbie for sharing and if I could give it more stars I would.

So mine came out beautiful looking at 9 minutes following the recipe exactly! ....or so I thought! ;) they came out tasting funny...a favor I couldn't make out from using vanilla pudding then my husband tasted them and said they taste like banana!!! Omgosh I checked the package and that's what I did wrong....mistakenly grabbed banana pudding instead of vanilla! Whoops....good thing they have nuts too...so now they are a banana nut chocolate chip cookie! Hoping all the kiddos on our camping trip enjoy them anyway... Looking forward to trying them again with VANILLA pudding and giving the.best rating! :)

I have made it with vanilla pudding & also with chocolate pudding to make a double chocolate chip cookies. My daughters' friends always ask for some when they take it to school.
