This is one of the best cheesecakes ever! I followed several of the suggestions, but I think it would have been good as written too. I'll definitely have to take this to work because it's too dangerous to leave in my fridge!

I made this last night for the first time and shared it at our church retreat. I personally didn't get to eat any of it, but it was all gone and my husband said on a scale of 1-10 he would give it 10.5. Will make this again. Thank you for sharing it.

This was my first attempt at making a cheesecake. The recipe was easy to follow and the end result was awesome! I did follow the modifications of other reviewers; cooking with a pan of water below, and increasing the amount of cheesecake filling. If anyone else is anxious about making a cheeseake for the first time I say go for it, this one is great!

This was the first time I've made cheesecake and it was easy to make and quite delicious. I followed the suggestions of using 1 and 1/2 times the cheese filling, microwaving the apples and adding a little butter and graham crackers to the pecans for the top of the cake. The cake was not too rich and looked really nice. It was even better the second day after being in the fridge all night.

It does taste great but the apples on top seem very chewy, so much that it's hard to eat them. Next time I think I'll bake them in the cheesecake or maybe chop them up a little kind like applesauce and use that mixed with the other ingredients on top.

Exellent cheesecake. The only thing I change is to double the filling for a fuller cake. I bake it about 30-35 minutes longer.

I feel kind of tacky that I did not come up with the recipe myself but this is the one i usually make for holidays. This recipe is fantastic, hands down. I even bought a higher quality springform pan just because the recipe is worth putting extra time etc into because it is very good and very attractive.

This cheesecake (incase you haven't noticed by now) is amazing! I have an addition of my own to add for a topping. When I made this recipe I followed advice to mircowave the apples before baking, and after I drained them I was left over with about a quarter cup of cider tasting liquid which I decided to turn into a spiced apple cider sauce to drizzle over the top of the cheesecake. It was very easy to make, you just need: 3 tbsp butter (melted) 1/2 cup sugar 1 beaten egg 2 tbps of brandy (whisky or bourbon works as well) 2 tbps drained juice from cinnimon apples Cream the butter, sugar and apple juice together and blend in the already beaten egg. Put this in a double broiler over gently boiling water and stir for about 5 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken. Remove from heat and add the brandy. The sauce tastes just like spiced apple cider and it tastes amazing when drizzled warm over a slice of cheesecake.

This was the cheesecake that started it all. I baked this cheesecake about 5 years ago and when I got all the rave reviews, I continued baking and experimenting and now I'm a semi-professional baker...and I owe it all to this cake!!!

I made this twice in a week! Even though it is summertime, it is a cool dessert that my whole family loved! I'm not big on nuts, but I followed the recipe to the "T" and the pecans made it what it was! WONDERFUL!

I must have / make about 20 different kinds of Cheesecake, and I love them all, but this one is my favorite. I call it Apple-Pecan-Crumb Cheesecake, because I add a Crumb topping to it (like crumb cake) YUMMY!! This cake is WONDERFUL! Thanks for the Recipe!

This cheesecake had a wonderful balance to it. The topping to filling to crust ratio was perfect and it was not too rich, but a medley of explosive yummy (c: My husband never asks for seconds on cheesecake but on this particular recipe he could not get enough of. I used pink lady apples for the topping and added a little more cinnamon than what was called for to coat the apple slices. This is a great recipe year round and wonderful served extra cold on a warm summer day.
