I only give this recipe 4 stars because I didnt have all of the ingredients. I will try it again when I have them all and come back again.I didn't have mushrooms and I didnt have alot of bacon. But the recipe turned out great without those things. My husband absolutely loved it, and neither one of the kids complained which is always nice.

I love this recipe. It is so tasty and keeps the chicken moist and flavorful. This recipe is requested again and again. I love it! I always pour all of the sauce in the pan with the chicken so that it is warmed up. Then I serve the dinner with bread and it wonderful to dip the bread into.

I changed a few things. I halved the recipe and started out by marinating the chicken in 2 TBS worcestershire sauce, 1 TBS lemon juice and 2 TBS dried mustard for about three hours. I left out the season salt. I sauteed the mushrooms and cut the turkey bacon into confetti-size pieces before cooking. For the sauce, I used a little bit of mustard powder and onion powder. I also used part-skim mozzarella for the cheese. Turned out pretty well. Not wow-inducing, but I altered the recipe a bit so I can't speak to how it tastes going by the exact recipe.

My husband is not a big fan of the honey mustard flavor, so I add about a tablespoon and a half of maple syrup, about a tablespoon of soy sauce, and a dash of marsala wine. Random, I know, but he loved it!! I also sauteed the mushrooms and chicken together in the bacon drippings. Not the healthiest dish, but very good!

Excellent. The whole family really enjoyed this dish. I cooked the chicken in the bacon grease for about 10 mins per side until it was lightly browned and then prepared for the oven. Didn't add the corn syrup as we didn't have any but it was still very good. I sauteed the mushrooms as others suggested. Bon Apetit!

Very simple to make and tasty. I used smoked ham instead of bacon and make the sauce different as I dont have corn syrup or onion flakes. I used 1 part lite mayo, 1 part honey, 1 part grain mustard, with black pepper and a dash of tabasco for kick. Great with a baked potato and green salad.

This recipe is wonderful. I did a few modifications as I did not have enough yellow mustard so I used Dijon and based on the other reviews I did not use as much seasoning salt. It is very good and I will definitely make it again. PS-I also did not use corn syrup and still had a lot of sauce left over.

My husband and I have made this a few times now over a couple of years... I noticed I've never reviewed it. So here I am! Its great... we don't change a thing. Just a note though... the sauce is sweet so if you don't like sweet honey mustard you may want to alter it.

I made this a couple of weeks ago for my New Zealand boyfriend and my granddaughter. I read quite a few reviews and merged them together. Here are my changes (although I think it would be wonderful without): I used 6 chicken breasts so I used all the sauce rather than reserve any. I too marinated them in lemon juice, seasoned salt, Worcestershire and and garlic but didn't have much time so only about an hour. I crumbled the bacon rather than leave it whole (half?). I omitted the parsley (yuck). I only used 1/2 the amount of corn syrup (1/8 cup). I do agree that it would have been much too sweet with 1/4 cup and I liked the sweetness. Some may want to omit the corn syrup altogether. Now, the weird thing was I had to layer rather differently. My granddaughter doesn't like mushrooms, so I left 2 breasts without and my boyfriend doesn't like cheese (can you imagine?) so I left 2 without. My 2 had all the fixins! I loved this and it was yummy for lunch the next day. Takes a bit of time to put all of it together but well worth it. A+ from me - thanks!

Outstanding recipe. I used some advice from previous reviewers and marinated the chicken in some worcteshire and lime juice - it turned out great and my husband loved it too. Only problem was I ran out of chicken and people wanted more!

We(my boyfriend and I)love this dish!!! We both dont care for mushrooms so we left that out and it was wonderful! But some IMPORTANT THING TO KNOW: the honey mustard is a really sweet honey mustard (which we like) but good to know for those of you who like the more mustardy flavored honey mustard

This recipe is so simple and the results are excellent! I loved the marinade and I will probably try it on plain baked chicken, without the bacon, mushrooms and cheese to lighten it up a bit. Also, I used canned mushrooms and they worked just fine.

My husband and kids LOVED this chicken. I'm not a huge fan of honey mustard, but it was still good. I may try it with a different type of mustard next time (all I had was French's yellow stuff.) Very good overall though.

This is my husband's favorite dish at a certain eatery. He thought I got take out from there tonight. I never order chicken at a steakhouse so my opinion is different. I thought this was way too salty. It was good but I couldn't get through 1 piece. I made it with boneless thighs rather than breasts. I left out the corn syrup per another cook's suggestion. Also, there is no need to bake this dish. I did it all in one skillet and covered at the end to simulate the oven step. There is a lot less to clean up afterwards this way. I used bacon drippings for the oil also. Next time I will make it with 1/2 the seasoned salt maybe less.

We found this very tasty! We mixed & matched suggestions from other reviews & were happy with the results. Most of our mustard was honey mustard and just a little bit of the regular. No corn syrup for us and we of course sauted the mushrooms. Will make again.

My entire family loved this dish, including my four year old who is a very picky eater, he actually ate an entire breast on his own. I followed other reviewers and marinated the chicken in worcestershire & lime juice and excluded the corn syrup. The only recommendation my husband had was to saute the mushrooms a little prior to adding them to the dish. Thanks for a great recipe! Update 3 Days Later: My four year old has been asking for this chicken everyday since I made it, he loves the dip!
