Served this tonight and my family raved about it! I did omit the corn syrup because the honey mustard was sweet enough without it. Everything else I followed to a "t" and it was great!! I served with a salad and baked potato and it was a quick, easy meal. Definitely a keeper!!

It is excellent. No on the corn syrup - not at all needed. Thick-cut bacon and more of it. You will love it.

Very rich and very delicious! I didn't pound out the chicken but it turned out fine regardless. Instead of the seasoning salt, I marinaded the chicken in some worcestershire sauce, lime juice, garlic, and a little prepared honey mustard. I halved the sauce and didn't reserve any for dipping. Instead of yellow mustard I used dijon honey mustard, no corn syrup, only half the honey called for, and no onion flakes because I don't have any. I used an 8 oz. can of mushrooms instead of fresh, and cheddar cheese instead of the blend, and I also skipped the parsley garnish. I took reviewer advice and used the bacon drippings to brown the chicken, which turned out great. This struck me as a recipe that would be very hard to mess up, easily modified without major consequences, and delicious virtually no matter what. I'll make this again for future high-fat splurge dinners. ;)

1. The mustard sauce for this chicken recipe is great - minus the corn syrup. I didn't like the taste when I stirred it up, but after it cooked in the oven, mmm, good. 2. The cheese adds yummy, salty flavor when it melts into the sauce. 3. The bacon and mushrooms do not compliment the flavor of this dish, and i LOVE both. How bacon can taste bad? Well, I thought I would never know, but I do now! 4. I took the advice of the most helpful review and marinated my chicken with garlic, lime and Worcestershire sauce - HUGE MISTAKE!! Garlic was never meant to go into this recipe. 5. Overall, I think the chicken breasts with cheese and the honey mustard sauce would be very yummy.

This was a good recipe. I loved the honey mustard sauce in this. It's great to eat plain with some chicken strips. Everything together in this dish went well together. Instead of mushrooms, I sauteed up some onions and put them over top of the chicken. I dont know if my bf really cared for it. It may have been the honey mustard sauce since he doesn't like it. Overall a great dish!

This was so good and so easy to make! THe chicken was moist and tasty. I used less cheese and sauteed onions with the mushrooms before baking.

This recipe is wonderful. My only modification was I didn't use as much corn syrup in the sauce, but followed everything else exact. One suggestion would be to make chicken fingers or something to dip in the honey mustard the next night as there is a lot of left over sauce and it's too good to waste. This recipe will be made again and again in our house.

I held the honey mustard because my husband doesn't like sweet tasting food. The breast must be pounded to half inch thickness or the baking time needs to be increased. Very good.

Very Good Recipe. I sauted butterflied chicken (instead of pounding) in the bacon fat for flavor. I only added 1/8 cup of corn syrup and used low fat mayo in the sauce. The sauce is definately more a sweeter honey mustard than a mustardy honey mustard. I would suggest dijon instead of yellow mustard if you prefer the later and skip the corn starch. I only used 1 cup of cheese (and I love cheese) but I think that was plenty. Will make again.

I liked this recipe a lot. I omitted the corn syrup as well and threw on some caramelized onions and portabella mushrooms. It was great that day and the next for lunch served with some twice baked potatoes and fresh green beans.

I only give this recipe 4 stars because I didnt have all of the ingredients. I will try it again when I have them all and come back again.I didn't have mushrooms and I didnt have alot of bacon. But the recipe turned out great without those things. My husband absolutely loved it, and neither one of the kids complained which is always nice.
