I have made this 5 times and 3 of which were to impress the guests. Something about the flavorful honey mustard (which I've never liked before te outback rest.) makes it addicting. I simply add minced dry onion and seasoned salt to plain prepared honey mustard now however instead of making that corn syrup concoction.

Yumm, definitely a keeper even if it is 'Aussie' and I'm a kiwi. Simply superb although I did use real onion.

I've made this a few times, and each time I sit and think "this was easier than the last time I made it!" It seems like it would involve quite a bit of time but really doesn't. And it's delish!! We skip the mushrooms, but everything else we make as stated. Yum!

Very tasty! I accidentally bought chicken strips which were harder to cook well. The honey mustard sauce is very delicious! Following the advice of others, I did not add the corn syrup. It looks gross, but tastes great.

I have made this recipe numerous times now. This is definately my "go to recipe" when I'm entertaining people I want to impress. The recipe is rather expensive if you are cooking for a lot of people, but well worth every penny. EVERY time I make it I get raving revues from EVERYONE, then I have to share the recipe (maybe I should just keep copies on hand). The best part is that it's easy to make and prep ahead of time. I like to get everything ready up until the point of putting it in the oven, then place dish in the fridge to finish baking right before dinner. Trust me, if you need to impress for dinner ... you will not go wrong with this one!

I thought for sure we would love this with all the great reviews it has. This was just average for us. I love chicken, I love bacon, and I LOVE cheese. Maybe we just don't like them so well all together. It had an odd flavor. This reminded me of something one might get at a fast food restaurant. We probably won't be making this again. My fiance liked the honey mustard sauce and suggested making just plain old honey mustard chicken next time with this sauce. So we will use the sauce.

This is a VERY good recipe!!! I love it. I learned to cook when I found this recipe on allrecipes and I try to convince my family to let me make it all the time!!! But when you(Rebecca) say to use seasoning salt I think, now keep in mind this IS a suggestion, it may give the chicken more flavor if you use Mrs.Dash. Plus it will cut back on the salt and if you use to much (like I did with the seasoning salt,Disastrous)it still makes the dish taste good. Thank you for sharing this recipe!!!!

This is one of our favorite recipes from this site. I don't think it is the prettiest looking plate that I have ever created, but it sure tastes great!

This is a wonderful dish. I made it, and hubby who's normally not crazy about honey mustard flavor, has asked me to make it again.

This was really great, but not quite like the restaurant version. I wanted the hone mustard to be a bit more substantial, and a bit less mustardy. Also, I would choose to put the cheese and bacon on after the chicken is mostly cooked. We will definitely have this again, though, just with a few adjustments.

Nothing comes quite close in comparison to this tasty dish, except I found it almost identical to the one at Outback Steakhouse :). Tastes great, and is much cheaper to make. Thanks for sharing Rebecca!

DH rates this dish 5 stars but I didn't care for it much (my rate 3, his 5, so I rated it an overall 4). The honey was overpowering and my 4yo took one bite and refused to eat it because of the mustard.

Yummo! This was awesome. It IS quite heavy, so I'd advise you serve it on a cool day, rather than in July in Virginia Beach! We all loved it, but none of us could finish it. WILL make again, maybe in the fall. Thanks for sharing!
