Delicious recipe! My husband loved it, he said it had a different and interesting flavor to it. It was a big hit!

This had an odd, sour taste that made me urpy. Only a sense of thriftiness drove me to finish one serving, but I can't fathom eating any more. I think it might have worked with sour cream or cream soup instead of tomato.

This was very simple and tasty. My whole family loved it. I did make a few changes by adding minced garlic in with the ground beef and veggies. It gave it some extra flavor. I also added shredded cheddar cheese on top towards the end of the baking time. All in all it was a good meal!

This was pretty good. I added some garlic powder, celery salt and red pepper flakes. I also cooked this on the stovetop instead of the oven. A fairly good meal for a cold and snowy day.

I added about 2T. Dale's seasoning to this, since I read so many comments about it being bland. I also used ground venison, since that's what I had on hand. It was a big hit!!!

I also found this dish lacking in flavor. While cooking the ground beef I added fresh garlic. It is a good meal to make if you have kids.

I would have given this 3 stars, but the family loved it. It came out soupier than expected. I covered it per some of the reviews to ensure tender potatoes, and uncovered it for the last 10 minutes. Next time I will do something differently. I added some seasonings and some red pepper flakes, which was a little too spicy. But it was popular so I will be trying it again.

This was very easy and sort of resembled Hamburger Helper. It was a little bland, even though I added seasoned salt, pepper and garlic powder and then topped the whole thing off with Parmesan cheese after it baked. I didn't have tomato soup so I used tomato sauce but that seemed to work fine. I would probably make this again but find a way to add more flavor.

After reading some of the reviews about this recipe coming out bland, or with chewy potatoes, I thought I could work with it and made some changes. I browned the meat with onions and extra garlic and seasoned it with seasoned salt and cajun seasoning, and even threw in some Italian herbs. I also tripled th Worchestershire (we love it) and since I didn't have any bell peppers or celery, I added a half jar of chunky salsa to give it some kick! I also threw in some Chiptle Cheddar. I covered with foil while baking to ensure tender potatoes and removed it 15 minutes before it was done. This dish was fantastic and full of flavor! Nothing boring about it! Of course I made it to fit our tastes but this is a good starter recipe. Thanks!

This did not turn out dry for me, as it did for others, at all--in fact, it was just the opposite. I did have trouble getting the potatoes to cook (some of them came out more like potato chips), but this might have been my fault as I cooked it in a 9x13 dish. I thought it had a lot of flavor and would change any of the ingredients. I did think, however, since the dish combines meat, potatoes, and vegetables, that this could be a one dish meal, but the serving sizes were so small I had to serve other dishes with it.

It was all right. Very bland, actually, even after I seasoned it. It just wasn't a particularly exciting dish. Bottom line: edible, but I don't think I'd ever make it again.

My family really enjoyed this recipe. I read the other reviews and made a few changes based on their comments. I sautééd a pound and a half of ground beef with onion and garlic. I added worchestershire sauce, 1 can each of tomato and cream of mushroom soup, a can and a half of water, 1 can of milk and 2 packages of scalloped potatoes. I brought it to a boil in the skillet and then poured everything into a baking dish and topped with grated marble cheese. I baked it for about 20-30 mins at 400 F. It was not dry at all. The flavor was absolutely delicious!!

tasted ok. might be better with cream of mushroom soup. This one needs a little tweaking to suit our taste a little better.

I made this last night, I had all of the ingredients, but it just wasn't that good. It was edible, maybe a dish that young kids may eat up, but my husband & I were disappointed. I threw it away after we each had a helping. It was very easy to make, i tried to add some seasonings based on other comments, not sure how to help this recipe.
