I didn't find it too sweet with just the two tablespoons of honey. I did add more chopped green onion. I made this last night and let the pork chops sit overnight in the marinade. We all enjoyed this, there were no leftovers. If I were to make this again, I'd add just a little more honey and garlic.

It is the only way we marinade steak now. Of course we made a few changes to make it our own!

I used 1 heaping tablespoon brown sugar instead of honey. It tasted very good, not too sweet as was mentioned in a previous review. I will surely use this recipe for pork tenderloin.

I used this as a marinade for tofu. I thought it was a bit strong in the vinegar and ginger. Overall, it was ok and the tofu stirfry I made with it was good.

Great recipe for grilling. Marinated chicken breasts for several hours. Very tasty. I'll definitely use this marinade several times this summer. I think next time I will try with salmon.

Very tasty! I chose green onions over shallots for both flavor and color. I marinated chicken breasts for a day and then grilled. Everyone loved it - even the kids. Thanks for the recipe!

I used this recipe on chicken breasts. It was pretty good. I think it was a bit too sweet for my taste. If I make it again I will add some chili powder to give it a kick and even out the sweetness. The kids loved it though.
