great tasting! My family loved this but I did alter it a bit. I substituted olive oil and only 2 T of it and added 1 t of sesame oil. Omitted the fresh garlic because I forgot it. Added 1 can of sliced water chestnuts and about 1/4 c of toasted sliced almonds. Yummy!

This recipe was absolutely excellent. Follow the recipe as directed and everyone will rave about it! You could use less peanut butter, but be sure to use only fresh grated ginger... this is what makes the recipe! A group of 13 women and every single one loved it and wanted this recipe

I've made this several times. Quite tasty (obviously or I wouldn't keep making it!). To save time I use the bagged coleslaw mix (the type with all 3 kinds of cabbage). This works perfect with half the dressing. I always replace half the vegetable oil with sesame oil for an even more addictive flavor. Also - it's easy to turn into a quick meal with the addition of some grilled chicken breasts.

This was just "OK". It sounded wonderful, something unusual, but the taste didn't impress me or my husband. I made 1/2 the recipe, and still had lots of leftovers. It was "interesting", but I won't make it again. Thanks anyway, Bobbi!

I was a little disappointed with this one. I will say that the presentation is great and it's definitely unique. Unfortunately I thought that I could substitute this for rice or noodles with a teriyaki steak -- wrong! Neither the kids nor my husband would eat it. The recipe makes a lot and we had LOTS of leftovers. I thought it was o.k. - but couldn't eat that much and ended up throwing most of it away.

This salad is scrumptious and presentation is spectacular! The chopping is rather intensive, even with a food processer, but the end result is worth it in my opinion. Even the hubbie, who is not a huge vegetable fan, enjoyed it.

Very very tasty. The only modifications I made were: using 3T of oil and a lower fat peanut butter product called Better 'N Peanut Butter. I will definately make this again. Next time, I'll use bagged coleslaw mix, napa cabbage and the rest of the usual ingredients. I think I'll also try subbing a bit of the oil wth sesame oil or chili oil.

I have taken this to several potlucks and I always return with an empty bowl. It is best when you use the three kinds of cabbage, but in a pinch, plain old green alone will do.

I used only 3T oil, and only nappa cabbge, no regular. Made a 1/2 batch, still made allot. Very tasty, company loved it.

This is excellent! I halved the recipe using a 1 lb. bag of cabbage, and added the cilantro and green onions. So much easier this way. Dont skip the cilantro and green onions- they really add to this. I also cut the oil back in half, like others suggested. I may cut it even more next time. I may have added a tiny bit too much ginger though. Still- this is a wonderful alternative to regular coleslaw. It is fancier and great for parties or barbeques. Yum!

Delicious! I added some sesame oil and toasted, slivered onions. It was a huge hit with us- a great pairing with our orange chicken stir fry.

Excellent recipe. I paired this with an ahi tuna recipe. I did replace a red pepper with a yellow pepper for more color.

My family did not like this at all. I halved the recipe and was glad that I did. It was barely touched and I ended up tossing the leftovers in the garbage. Sorry!

I'm giving this three stars because the vegetable mix is excellent - colourful and tasty. However, I didn't care for the dressing. It seemed too rich and creamy, and some of the flavours (ginger, garlic) disappeared entirely.

I love this recipe and make it again and again. The only modification I make is to use more PB and less oil which is a personal taste issue, I believe. We haven't have "ordinary" coleslaw since I discover this gem. Thanks, Bobbi, for a really great recipe!
