Great basic recipe that is very easy to make your own. If your beef strips are very thin, I suggest to saute them for only about 1 to 1.5 minutes a side then remove from the pan while you saute your veggies... add sauce and meat to veggies at same time. Any veggie combination works... tonight I used broccoli, carrots, celery, mushrooms, red peppers and onion...sauteed in sesame oil... to add some heat, I used 1/4 tsp of asian chili paste... thanks for the great start! I also doubled the sauce... hubby loves saucier stir-fries... thanks again!

Very good, i do suggest marinating the steak in soy sauce and rice wine but otherwise it was awsome!

A sure-fire winner! As others suggested, I doubled the recipe for the sauce. I removed the steak from the pot as soon as it started to brown. Instead of snow peas, I used onions, green/red bell peppers, carrots and broccoli florets. Great flavor and the best stir fry. What I loved most is that ginger doesn't overpower this recipe. My husband and I ate it all - no leftovers.

I am not the best at making stir-fry's, but this was so easy. I just made a little more sauce and used cooking sherry because I don't have rice wine. This recipe is defiantly going into my personal favs!

This was actually a really nice recipe with no need to change the original ingredients. I did however double the sauce (which I don't think is a bad idea). The flavor was not too strong or salty as with other Asian recipe renditions on this site. My husband is a very picky eater so I've been trying out new recipes while he's gone. I have a feeling that this is one that he'd like.

This was great! I doubled the sauce recipe, but kept everything else the same. We will definitely be eating this again.

The sauce was very tasty, but I will try a different meat and try adding more veggies next time. The recipe as written made two servings in my case.

I doubled the sauce and used sesame oil instead of seeds. Very yummy. I marinated half my round steak sliced and half in a slab. Cooked them both and everyone liked the pre-sliced marinated steak a little better. The recipe is definitely a keeper! Sauteed sliced steak with onions.

Great recipe! Quick, easy and delicious...perfect for a busy weeknight dinner! I doubled the sauce (just because I like extra on my rice) and I think next time I'll add more veggies. This will become one of my go-to meals though!

OK Husband suggested different meat (Shrimp) next time. I think the beef was tough. Sauce was good.

Turned out very nice, had them with fried rice.Very easy to make for a quick lunch. I would be careful with the soy sauce and salt the next time though.

Awesome! Simple, easy tasty. I made it w/ Shrimp and Tofu. I had edamame, carrots and mushrooms on hand so I used that. It came out great. I did need to ad a bit more cornstarch to thicken it up.

This was very good and easy to make. Make sure to mince the ginger up really good. I didn't like biting into the bigger chunks. This would also be very good with broccoli instead of snow peas, but those were good too. I doubled the sauce recipe. Served with brown rice and spooned the extra sauce over the rice. Delicious!

I loved this recipe! I doubled the sauce and used onion, green pepper, and broccoli for the vegetables. My only problem was by the time the vegetables cooked down my meat was a little over done. Next time I will cook the vegetables separate.
