Made it for Sunday dinner. The whole family loved it. I did not change a thing in the ingredients. It is very rich. Definately have some good bread to dip in the sauce.

So good! I noticed that a lot of people reviewing this recipe used a mix of milk and cream to cut down on fat - it's easier to just use fat free half and half. I used that in place of all three cups of cream in the recipe and the sauce still came out absolutely flavorful. I thought bacon would be a little weird in this dish so I used mushrooms instead.

My husband liked this very much, but way too fattening for me (I don't diet). His cholesterol is through the roof though. Had to add many different spices to enhance this dish because we both felt it lacked flavor. Glad that everyone else was impressed!

This is so yummy that I throw caution to the wind and ignore the fact that it is definitely not the most healthy of dishes. It is DEEEELICIOUS. It is a rich dish with several flavours that complement each other nicely. Across the board, this recipe gets rave reviews when I make it. I wouldn't change a thing and happily recommend it to others. I'm drooling just thinking about it right now... :)

This was excellent, even my picky 9 year old loved it. I used penne pasta and 1/4 cup asiago cheese. Recipe made a lot though.

Yummy recipe. I made this with cut up grilled chicken. It was a big hit for a dinner party. People were really impressed. The only down side is that it is a lot of work but who ever said good food came easy!! Excellent.

My husband was concerned about the smell of the asiago cheese, but one bite and he was a goner. This is now a family favorite.

My husband is very picky when it comes to food. But I can say that he completely loved this! I added some more cheese than was listed here and it tasted awesome! He even said there was no need to go to the Olive Garden, this beat it out.

This was fantastic. Scaled the recipe to 3 servings... should have left it at 6 so that I could have more leftovers!! Absolutely gourmet restaurant quality.

Amazing. I added mushrooms and more asiago cheese as some of the others have mentioned, a little cayenne pepper too. I used 18% table cream, but as the sauce simmers, try adding a little skim milk if you find the consistency to be too thick.

Fantastic recipe! Definitely a keeper. I made a couple changes... only used 1/4 cup of bacon and instead of using cream in the last part of the recipe, I used Half and Half instead.

I really enjoyed this receipe. I read through the other suggestions from other subscribers and incorporated a few plus add a few of my own. I used penne pasta, my personal preference. I used 1 cup of heavy whipping cream and 1 cup of half and half in the cream sauce. Up the cloves of garlic from 2 to about 7, I love garlic. Also upped the asiago cheese to 1 cup. This was the only changes I made. When I reheated the pasta as far as leftovers I tossed a little milk in the pasta and then microwaved. Next time I think I will make another change. I think I will use proscuitto in place of the bacon. Thanks for a great receipe Michelle.

Excellant recipe. I made the cream sauce earlier in the day and used a asiago, parm, and fontiana cheese blend and refrigerated it. Pan seared the chicken with grill seasonings in a smaller amount of the bacon fat. I used 2 percent milk for the second part of the recipe to reduce the amount of fat. This one tastes just like a pasta dish that I always order at the Macaroni Grill. You will love this one.

VERY VERY GOOD. I doubled the amount of cheese for some extra flavor and used 1% milk in the final stage instead of heavy cream. I also did NOT put any meat in the dish. My girlfriend and I loved it and will be eating the leftovers tomorrow night...mummm good.
